The app isn’t working - avoid getting this brand of camera!
The app never works, doesn’t connect and regularly glitches. We recently purchased a second monitor and two weeks later they discontinued the whole range and all customer support. My app has never worked since they discontinued the range now in four months and this is mainly the reason I purchased the products. Extremely disappointing and annoying I’ve two monitors which work like cheaper branded models yet paid a premium price Zero stars if I could

the app used to be good however it now constantly crashes, can’t use Face ID for some reason and my password is long so trying to fill that out at 3am to put on the music is pointless. The physical monitor fell apart in a year. It’s now having to open in offline mode for some odd reason connect to WiFi though?
We’ve had so many issues with the baby monitor, a device that is so important when you have young children. If you can't produce well engineered and easy-to-use experiences you shouldn't be in this sector. Our camera has gotten worse and worse over the years and now the app no longer connects to the server to allow access to the camera via our phones. Absolute garbage
Was fantastic 4 years ago, and slowly deteriorated into junk. Now shockingly terrible to the point where the app no longer connects to the server. Could never recommend buying a Kodak product again.
When it works, I think this is the best App and baby monitor on the market. The problem is, over the past 4 years of owning the system, we’ve had a number of issues, mainly with connectivity outside of the house. And now the App cannot connect to the server at all so only available offline. Has Kodak discontinued their service or something?
Awful decision to stop support for the app. You can no longer use 70% of the features. Will be making a claim to return all 4 cameras and unit as they are no longer fit for purpose. I encourage everyone to do the same.
This started off great, we love the camera and the parent unit, but the app has just been getting worse and worse. I’m very surprised to see this with a brand like Kodak. The brand is the reason we chose these cameras over other baby monitors and I foolishly thought that being a big brand they would keep the app in good shape. I’ve had better app experiences from unknown Chinese cameras. It started ok, but 18 months later the app doesn’t even log in properly, saying that it can’t connect to the server. This is the newest bug. Before that, I started noticing that the streaming does not work if not connected to the wifi. Since I have 3 cameras and one is used for the dogs, not being able to see it live when I’m out of the house renders the camera completely useless. I’ve submitted a bug report but had no response. I see nobody cares about this app. Your customers will stop caring very soon too and move to different brands if all these issues aren’t addressed.
Camera is good - shocking mobile app. App rarely ever works, truly shocking if you rely on this to monitor a young child.
