Really frustrating to use on tablet
I cannot log into my institution on tablet, it just goes in an infinite loop - from ‘sign in through your institution’ to ‘give your email’ round and round. Then it also will not open the borrowed book from a browser into the app, which completely defeats the purpose of the offline reading. Could not be more impractical or annoying.
Bad
Cannot read books that have expiry dates. It doesn’t show on IPAD but only shows on iPhone. Sent feedback to them and never been fixed. Disappointed
Apps fail on both macOS & iPad
Lost notes and constant inability to access the apps. One moment the password works, the next it doesn't. Perhaps an issue with Apple's Screen Time and Content & Privacy functions, but what the case. I'm goign to try sticking to the web site (eventhoguh I've also had issues there). Don't recommend relying on Kortext for anyting other than reading textbooks (and then paln ahead and take notes elsewhere).
Good concept, worst app
The concept of this app is amazing. However it has so many bugs. Across all devices my notes disappear and I have to restart the app to see them again. FIX IT!!!!
Not intuitive
Hard to use; would prefer it had page numbers & its could be more streamlined for lazy students
Frustrating.
It is impossible to select the exact page numbers you want to print. The “from” “to” bar is simply unfit for the purpose. Why can we not just type the page numbers ourselves? Munch simpler. Also it is very stupid that as you hit “print” the print allowance decreases: only to realise that the app has got bugs and the print preview shows completely different pages than those you selected. So you try again thinking you selected wrong. Nope, not your fault. But now you don’t have print allowance anymore. Finally it would be nice to be able to collect books in folders. Otherwise you have a myriad of books of various topics all together and that’s just so messy.
