The app is very buggy, often having to press the “next page” button up to 5 or 6 times to get it to work. My pages are also cut off at weird areas. Overall a terrible app.

Whenever I leave the app and go back in afte a few days, my 1 file that i have is no longer functional, so I lose all my notes and highlights. I have to download the file again, but none of my notes are saved.

lots of bugs and glitches. I cannot highlight stuff unless I exit out of the whole app and restar the program. The bottom bar won't dissapear so I can't even see the text.

I downloaded a pdf file of a book for school, and after a week it deleted itself like I had never downloaded it. It was around 100 pages and I had highlighted pieces of evidence I was to use for a project. Now it's gone so I don't know where to cite it.

It doesn't read aloud to you like other readers do, and that's the whole reason I downloaded it (it supposedly has this feature in other computer versions). It also has kind of a funky note-taking system. You can't separate them out by section or chapter, so they're all in this clump (I use different highlight colors to separate but it isn't super helpful) and they're only really in previews so you can't reference them quickly. Additionally, it's a little glitchy for me. I've had it delete notes before that I know I made, the formatting of the words on the page get kind of messed up sometimes when the page has a figure, and loading a pdf into the app sometimes takes a few tries. And I know I've really highlighted the negatives here, but if you want an easy-to-use, no-nonsense eBook app, this one will do everything you need. It's just the "student" kind of features such as note-taking or studying aides that are lacking.

Tried to sign up via Apple ID, Google and even email. Nothing worked

crashes a good bit on macbook pro 14 on Sonoma when adding notes, would much prefer to be taking this class with a pdf file.

It is really an extracting information ocompany. Before you can use it, it is required for you to give them your data. Once you are registered, you can not open an ACSM document nor an eBook. Do not waste your time.

This is a terrible app that almost seems retro in its limitations. For example, it does not support continuous vertical scrolling (like a web page) for PDF documents (unlike Adobe and just about any other PDF reader today). If it weren't required for many academic courses, it would likely not be used at all.

When trying to import files it often hangs with a loading wheel and doesnt do anything. When you finally get it to load something randomly, it wont even let you read past a couple of pages until it just stops rendering the rest of the book. When you try to repeat that whole process of uploading the same file, the app isnt smart enough to know that its the same file, so then you end up with 10 copies of the same book, none of which work. This app is unusable, clearly full of bugs, and im genuinely confused how it has such high ratings.
