What happens if I get a new iPhone or iPad?
The limited edition apps you have already acquired will remain in the app store so that you’ll always be able to download them as long as you have the same iTunes account.
What happens after the "app drop" release time is over?
The apps will remain in the App Store so that you may download updates. After the “app drop”, the price in the app store will go to the maximum price tier. As long as you keep the same iTunes account, you may download updates and copies to new devices for free!
Will the apps still be updated?
The apps will be updated for new iOS versions, to ensure that your limited edition apps continue to work as iOS technology progresses.

Does not sound on GB startup, no longer 5-stars.
State-saving. Doesn’t hold the Audio Unit patch setting and various parameter settings inside of GarageBand (can’t speak for other DAWs). Open GB up having been happy with the patch/adjustments and Digitalism says ‘welcome’ in the patch readout…tap on that, it comes up with the CORRECT patch, so you try hitting the GB ‘play’ arrow, still no sound…forces you to change the patch, LOSE ALL SETTINGS and then return to your patch! It’s a pfaff, users will just use something else - can you imagine if ALL 32 instruments in GarageBand did this?! Put the other way around, I wouldn’t dare make an entire song with Digitalism alone that would be about 160 extra taps every time just to get this AudioKit offering to make its sounds! Come on, replace this Audio Unit or fix it, pretty please.
Great sounds, just unusable
I’ve had this plugin for quite a while, and every time I’ve added it to a project, after closing down the project and reopening it, I get nothing from this. I really like the sounds it has but it’s like using a kids keyboard that doesn’t save anything once it’s powered down. It’s really disappointing since every other synth they make is amazing. Just wish this one was actually usable.
Mostly good but…
Inferior to the earlier D1 in every way, aside from the fact that D1 won’t work in auv3, despite advertising as such. The D1 is still packed with a variety of sounds so wonderful that I’ve learned to live with the lack of auv3.
But this app doesn’t have the rich diversity of sounds that the D1 does.
That’s not to say it doesn’t have some beautiful presets, but for those of us who’d rather not twiddle knobs all day it does feel sadly lacking in comparison.
Useless crashes just like their other apps
So I bought fm and d1 synth recently not realising they are essentially the same thing. I finally saw that they are both old versions of the newer Digitalism synth. So I paid for that too. Guess what tho, they all crash in Cubasis when you scroll presets so they are useless to me as I just want quick sounds. It sounds good but with it crashing all the time it’s unusable. Also, I’ve paid for this essentially 3 times to get the same result. Very disappointing

Any app can have multiple mix downs so I'm not sure what that means...???

Why no save state?
Uncomplicated yet versatile within its proscribed boundaries, it’s a lot of fun right out of the box. Unfortunately, AudioKit have once again released an app that does not retain/ restore the last settings. That decision makes using it a lot less pleasant, as it requires remembering so much just to get back to where you left off. Most other AU3 apps retain their settings as standard, so why not AudioKit?

As usual another superb synth from Audiokit along with a lot of great patches, just a tiny bit disappointed that there is no Audiobus connection, hopefully to be added in next update?

Sounds great! Now with sustain pedal support I can play it properly from my glorious 88 note keyboard!
