Doesn’t work on iOS 12. Seriously Lego? Kids use pass me down devices and you decide to support only the latest. Says it will update to the latest version, but dialog just keeps repeating. Starting the app just says it needs to be upgraded. It used to work on the same device. The kid is on the verge of crying.
This app is very good.I just wanted to ask you a question develepor.I dont find Lego life app in the app store. So can you please send me the link to it.
A great app but there isn’t all of the sets I have. Quite alot of them are missing, like ninjago season 1 sets and most city sets I have. I wish in the future will add all of the sets.
3D instructions for this set don’t work
Hello everyone, I’m dissapointed with the app. I tought that in app there will be additional content (plans)not the same like in the box on paper. When I chose all the lego packets I have I hoped IT will generate new plans but guess I was wrong. Best regards
I want to start off by saying I love this app. It shows Lego’s continuous commitment to enhancing customer experience. Pros: - Access to building instructions of retired sets. - Relatively straightforward and user friendly interface. - Pretty fast. Have some issues with lagging but overall it functions very smoothly. - BUILD TOGETHER MODE is the primary reason I’m even writing this review. It is such an awesome experience getting to build with others in an environment that has been built specifically with collaboration in mind. It’s an incredibly fun way to share Lego. For example, Lego is now in the regular date night rotation for my girlfriend and I. She had never been interested before. Con (suggestions): - Crashing does happen occasionally. - Interface does not make the build together mode immediately noticeable. It is, in my opinion, the biggest reason to use the app. Yet it appears on the home page a full “screen scroll” under other sets. - Loss of progress. This one hurts. Lost about half our progress in build together on Santa’s post office. Had to tediously go through each step. - In build together, allow an option to filter by “new”. It is not immediately obviously how many new sets there are unless you know how many were there before the update. There is also no easy way to navigate the new sets. I would like to be able to see them in a single list rather than scroll through ~500 sets trying to catch the “new” tag on the image. Especially when a new wave drops it would be nice to see which ones are on there! Regardless of the cons, love the app. Can’t wait to see it continue to improve.
I keep getting error messages when trying to register a set. And why am I asked what year I was born and clearly am an adult, but still have to solve a math problem every time I want to access my account to register a new set? This app may be helpful for those that need instructions, but that must be the only thing it’s good for.
Useful, practical, advantageous, handy, helpful, beneficial, convenient, and cooperative (a special thanks to thesaurus.com for helping out with this review.)
*UPDATE: I’m really getting frustrated with this app! I can’t ‘complete’ builds any more. I get to the last page and exit but it doesn’t realize I’m done. I used to be able to long press on a set on the home page and hide it but that option no longer exists. I’ve resorted to ‘resetting’ the instructions which seemed to remove the ‘unfinished’ sets but they randomly keep coming back. Today I opened the app to find 5 sets sitting on my Home Screen that I had already finished and cleared out. What is going on LEGO?!? Please fix this so I can enjoy the app building experience again. I love this app and my preference is always to use the builder app over the printed instructions. Unfortunately, so many instructions don’t show up in the app even though they are available online through customer support. Why don’t you link the databases so the app will download any off available in you customer database? Also, I wish they were more with the 3D instructions. Sometimes it is not clear exactly where a piece should go and the ability to get a different view is awesome. Overall great app but still room for improvement.
