LEGO® POWERED UP

Published by: LEGO System

Description

Combine this app with the LEGO DC Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112), the LEGO City Cargo Train (60198), or the LEGO City Passenger Train (60197) (each sold separately) to operate the motorized engines via Bluetooth controls, or use your imagination and build entirely new creations using LEGO Powered Up components and bring them to life by coding them. Make your models move and respond to real-world events.
The LEGO Powered Up app puts you in the driver’s seat of the awesome 4-wheel-drive Batmobile to speed through the streets of GOTHAM CITY™. Drive forwards, backwards, left and right… or pull 360-degree turns! You can even activate cool tricks and stunts as you become the Dark Knight and fight crime. You can customize and code your Batmobile tricks and choose your sounds and movements – pretty awesome!
The LEGO Powered Up app also controls LEGO trains to haul goods or pick up passengers around LEGO City. You can control the speed, change directions, and bring even more life to your play with various sounds such as a whistle, passenger announcement, railroad crossing bell, and more! The Bluetooth remote control app and the remote control handset included in the LEGO City train sets aren’t compatible with older infrared remote-controlled LEGO train sets.
Thanks to Powered Up components like hubs, motors, sensors, and lights you will be able to bring your customized creations to life. You can also bring your existing LEGO models to life.

Doesn’t connect to the train. When you check on google lots of other people have the same issue. Looks like a real hassle to sort it out. It shouldn’t have to be so hard to play with a toy. Not sure or it’s the app or the LEGO but a frustrating experience

New update is terrible

DuncAMB123 on

Australia

Lego has gone backwards in functionality with this app. This new update now has missing functions and terrible user interface. Why is the math function completely missing when configuring in create mode??! No idea what is going on here but it is sad to say the least that this app gets no attention.

Good app but needs some updates

Riley Hoppo Grant on

Australia

This app is good, but i want to see somethings changed. 1. Have more widgets like a battery level widget, gyroscope widget and some more useful widgets. 2. Allow us to make custom themes with custom controllers, like for example if you made an excavator you could have an excavator themed control, also like in the newer freight train control profile can you add like digital displays? 3. Documentation: Please add documentation because this app update leaves me confused i don’t know what each icon is so can you please add documentation.

The Promises you made last year

DogMan682 on

Australia

None of the promises for the app have come out yet and we are in JUNE! Come on Lego, at least add the LCC style!

epically is the way i describe the game

Stops audio playback unnecessarily.

Spudoinkle on

Australia

Hey, devs, marketing et al, here’s an idea. Remove the function, that stops audio playback when using this app. I get it that your app likes to make sounds, but for some that would like to enjoy listening to music while using your app, would be nice. Same goes with your CONTROL+ app. Otherwise, give us the ability to disable in-app sounds that may inhibit audio playback from other apps. While this might sound like a trivial request, I get it that this might not get put on your backlog. Otherwise, please point me to the right direction to create a feature request.

For the grand piano the sheets don’t show up

sandy translvania on

Australia

I have tried numerous attempts and done multiple things followed YouTube videos and tutorials but on the app the grand piano section does not have sheet music to play the piano which is sad to see please fix it I just want to play it

Doesn’t work at all

gwangpa on

Australia

It’s connected Grand Piano nothings displayed when I tap either listen or play. How can I play or listen?

This app is great, but is missing some things

AidenWaterGun25ManOfGuys on

I find the custom controller creator very nice, and it works quite well. The only problem with it is that we can’t change the background colour, so it stays as a plain white background. Maybe we could import custom images for background? I also found that the block coding can be hard to decipher, because there is no in app help to tell you what block does what, so I had to use an external website. Users should have the ability to upload custom sounds to be played by a custom sound block. Apart from these issues, the app is great because it is free and allows users to create custom controls and scripts for their lego builds, and use already made presets to control their creations. I hope that you take some of my suggestions into consideration :)
