Description

Combine this app with the LEGO DC Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112), the LEGO City Cargo Train (60198), or the LEGO City Passenger Train (60197) (each sold separately) to operate the motorized engines via Bluetooth controls, or use your imagination and build entirely new creations using LEGO Powered Up components and bring them to life by coding them. Make your models move and respond to real-world events.

The LEGO Powered Up app puts you in the driver’s seat of the awesome 4-wheel-drive Batmobile to speed through the streets of GOTHAM CITY™. Drive forwards, backwards, left and right… or pull 360-degree turns! You can even activate cool tricks and stunts as you become the Dark Knight and fight crime. You can customize and code your Batmobile tricks and choose your sounds and movements – pretty awesome!

The LEGO Powered Up app also controls LEGO trains to haul goods or pick up passengers around LEGO City. You can control the speed, change directions, and bring even more life to your play with various sounds such as a whistle, passenger announcement, railroad crossing bell, and more! The Bluetooth remote control app and the remote control handset included in the LEGO City train sets aren’t compatible with older infrared remote-controlled LEGO train sets.

Thanks to Powered Up components like hubs, motors, sensors, and lights you will be able to bring your customized creations to life. You can also bring your existing LEGO models to life.

Nothing but problems

Nana Loves Lego on

Bought a hub for the Haunted house, couldn’t get it to work, so Lego had me return that hub and they would send me another one. Well having similar problems. Sometime the lights will come on the hub, starting with the purple flashing light, before I’ve even pushed the green button, just started after installing the batteries. After the first hub didn’t work I decided to try an older hub, had no problems getting it to work on the haunted house. I’ve tried uninstalling the program, re-installing the program, both on my phone and iPad. I’ve followed all the instructions given to me, when I had problems with the last hub. I’m at a loss of what to try next. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED!!!!!

Excessive Battery Usage and Heating

Respawn0502 on

The app itself works flawlessly, 5/5 stars. The unnecessary battery drain though makes it tough to use, not to mention my device gets noticeably warmer when the app is being used when compared to other apps.

Needs to be more intuitive.

I’ve been experimenting for over a year and there’s still basic functions I can’t use nor find on the web which be useful. One feature is an override so you can have a distance sensor running but as soon as you build gets too close to an object it overrides without motor cogging and stops the vehicle. (eg: a background code block or special start/address block with that kind of toggle. The next feature is working the 2 lights from one hub port individually. I have a project ford raptor that I would really appreciate if I could code blinker lights in some way. (eg: how the multi hub capability works). Thanks, •••

Missing pices

At step 3 already missing 2 pices. Really ordinary for a toy of this price.

App no longer works

Piano app does not work. Connects to Bluetooth but then does not load either Play or Listen sheet music function. It used to work several months ago on the same phone, so I’m not sure what happened. I’m using an iPhone SE 2nd gen.

I can’t move my train

I’ve been using my iPod touch and my phone but my Lego passenger train won’t work. The sounds work good but the throttle thing won’t work.
