My reason to stop using leica cameras! 70€/y Freemium app with shameless user-data-collection
Im a professional client of leica since more than a decade and spend more money for for their cameras than for cars, but the release of this app is reason enough for me to finally switch to a other brand. This app should be free, a way to get clients into leica with showing off their style, look and simple software. But its just an embarrassing cashgrap for a very very very mediocre „product“ made by the same developers who have a app for free. ANY other free or 1€ „pro-foto app“ does the same and/or more/better which on top doesn’t collect user-data as the Leica Lux app does.
Gimmick
hyst an excuse to trade on the Leica brand for 0 benefit to the end user.
Malas prácticas comerciales
Se publicita como si la app fuera libre y cuando la descargas, te llevas la desagradable sorpresa de que no es así después de las dos semanas de prueba.
Esta práctica es reprobable, por no decir engañosa.
Mal Leica, mal.
Doesn’t work anymore
After the last update doesn’t work properly… all filters are locked. The button simply doesn’t work.
Like the color effects, hate the price.
I really like Leica color but $70 a year for ( basically) color looks seems extreme. Almost all apps have gone insane. Remember when an app like this would be 99 cents, it was yours, and they'd update it for years before asking for a upgrade fee? Yes, this app does color well and yes it simulates focal lengths ( lenses) pretty well but I just can't get over how little they're giving for the price. Oh wait, it's a " Leica" branded product....but wait..it's just an iPhone...hmmmmm
Great complementary photo app for my Leica
Love the way I can continue shooting in a way with this app when I’m away from my physical Leica. Love the familiar settings and filters.
Some important app improvements needed:
- better response time when taking photos. The lagging is not good.
- suggest a haptic response when the shutter is triggered. Hard to notice the white outline around the viewfinder. With the above mentioned lag, hard to tell if my photo was actually taken.
- suggest a slight better placement of the shutter button more similar to the Apple camera. Right now, slightly off and not as desirable.
Thank you for choosing to make this app!!!!
crashes when swapping lenses
how about leica owners get this for free?
Extremely buggy
I subscribed to Pro and could not access features. Restored the purchase… nothing (even though it told me I had restored successfully). Deleted the app, installed again… nothing.
Deleted.
