If you have freeze make sure to be on latest app version
I like this app for reading books in Spanish, but can’t justify the cost, especially because I upload my own content! Should be a cheaper plan for this purpose
Should make family package with multiple accounts and more social interaction between friends.
I’m liking the way there are many ways to learn the language of my choice. ie. Mini stories, songs, history. The flash cards are great too.
The ability to track ones familiarity with words on a scale of 0 to 5 is a simple but good one, and it was the main part of this app I found useful. However I do not think such an easy to implement feature justifies the price of the subscription, especially when it does not recognise different forms of a word as being the same (lemmatization). As a result, the numbers of words the app reports you know is misleading. A good app, but missing a basic feature that might justify the price.
Flash cards have their place, but once you get to a certain level, it’s important to read and see what kinds of phrases people use. The app has really clever built in flash cards as well based on the words that you identify that you don’t know. After I created Anki decks with thousands of cards, I have totally stopped using them in favour of this app. Worth every penny!
Perhaps a cheaper subscription for light users?
Please optimise your app for keyboard with iPad. Please allow it so you can use the arrow keys to move it to the next word. On the web version this is possible, but on the app version it does not work. Please make it work Steve & co. Other than that small ask. 10/10 It’s what all the polyglots use. it’s simply:brilliant;excellent;zenith/\.
In the 2 months I’ve been using it, I’ve already made more progress than in the last 3 years of using various other resources, mostly duolingo.
