Anyone else have the same issue? No cast icon in linkedin learning videos to cast to chromecast via iphone.
The app is pretty good. The only annoyance is that the course is stop playing when opening Q&A threads within the course (despite it's able to play in all other situations, even when the app is in the background)
I am lacking transcripts while working with the iOS app they also do not work properly in the browserm. Seems to be almost perfect tool -still just almost ....unfortunatelly :(
Generally, the app is working seamlessly on the IPAD if you download a course content - I’m really happy, the download is enabled. Otherwise if you break playing out of the course you may have to wait a bit for the content to load again. What I don’t like is that vast majority of the courses are split into many short modules and the app is indicating on the progress bar only the progress of your current module, not the course as a whole, therefore you have to remember the module and the progress time in case you would like to get back to particular content especially interesting to you. You cannot do it easily based on the overall course level. If that point would be fixed I’d rate the app as 5 stars.
You can barely hear several instructors in what I will call amateur videos. The projector is places far away, the instructor takes half of the screen... no notes can be taken. Courses where instructors are the host gets mislead with out of context examples. No book? Ahh probably cheaper to make poor videos... Not a fan.. even on YouTube you can find way better videos prepared by individual than so called ‘world famous’ organisation.
There is no option to switch vertical/horizontal view for iPad. When iPad is docked there is no option to use this app.
I really miss the speed setting feature that is present on the website. Please add it.
:/
I like the app. I just wish there was a dark mode feature. I want to learn but have it be easy on the eyes as well.
