Linn

This new version is a good, but the old Kazoo version was easier to connect to Qobuz with "Upnp". I still use the old Kazoo to make the connection and after I use the new Linn to select my Qobuz music. And it was quicker to mark a song as favourite by just clicking on the "Start" logo.

They don’t listen to feedbacks… Basic function like what to do when clicking on a track… play now, next, add to end of queue… Online saving playlist is well… another cloud thing that you depend on the company…

The app works well for the most part with my Klimax DSM. What needs to be done is how it interfaces with the actual Tidal Music app for example. *You can’t update a song to a playlist created within the actual Tidal app so as to play it in your car or a friends place with the Tidal app later. This app just saves it to your iPad created playlist for example locally. And not Tidal app. *You can not block tracks or songs you dislike. *Does not have Track radio. You need to have the ability to update the actual Tidal app and not just perimeters within this Linn app that stay with this app only. JPlay app has this ability. Mconnect app has this ability too but a bit clunky to do it. I hope this gets addressed in the future…. And Airplay2 still has issues with Linn, or I would stream directly from the Tidal app. Hence having to go to a UPnP app.

Please add back navigation view controller gesture so users don’t need to reach for the back button. It would be really handy when navigating artists and albums to be able to swipe from left edge of the screen to return to last view.

Immer wieder keine Verbindung, unübersichtlich und was am meisten nervt sind die fehlenden Songtexte. Tidal stellt die zur Verfügung, aber bei Linn können sie nicht angezeigt werden.

Kazoo war einfacher und übersichtlicher. Schade, dass es nicht mehr kompatibel zum Linn-Streamer ist.

Weiter so!

Ich besitze nun seit über 5 Jahren DSM Streamer von Linn. Anfangs mit Kazoo, seit Erscheinen der „Linn“ App mit dieser gesteuert. Leider muss ich sagen, dass die Zuverlässigkeit in den letzten drei Jahren stark gelitten hat. Immer wieder brechen Playlisten ab, Qobuz wird mal nicht gefunden, etc. Für mich ist das in dieser Preisklasse ein absolutes No-Go! Es ist auch nicht durchschaubar, ob die Firmware der Geräte oder die App die Probleme verursacht. Bitte, liebe Linn Softwerker, schafft hier schnell Abhilfe, sonst muss ich mich bei der Konkurrenz umsehen.

Mit ultra schöner Oberfläche

Eine solide App, die immer besser wird. Ich nutze die Linn App schon relativ lange und konnte feststellen, dass an der Verbesserung der App weitergearbeitet wird. Mein Kritikpunkt bezieht sich vor allen Dingen auf die Barrierefreiheit! Leider ist mit dem Screen Reader VoiceOver nicht alles wirklich gut erreichbar. Da muss man einiges tricksen, um alle Bereiche auslesen zu können. Abstürze der App gibt es sehr selten. Meist nur im Zusammenhang mit grundlegenden Einstellungen, die man vornehmen möchte. Ich kann diese App trotz all dieser Einschränkungen mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen!
