Doesn’t work for International accounts

You would think, that a bank would release an app, that would allow all of its customers that hold their accounts with them to use this app. Not this one. Such a simple thing sounds easy right?, well it’s clearly wrong. International currency account holders with this bank can not use this app, because they have not made it they didn’t allow access to them. What sort of a bank would not want to make it easier for their customers to check their balances, order a new card and to be able to send a secure message to their bank… everyone else does, but this bank. Having travelled the world and having had multiple bank accounts with many different banks, I have for that Lloyds banking features are the most archaic systems in the world. The English banking system needs to get with the times and the rest of the world. This app is just one of the ones that really needs to be upgraded and step into the 21st century.

No Reference option between your Accounts

Ilya Snowdon on

New Zealand

As you would expect from a UK Bank There online banking app is missing many features you come to expect overseas. The main missing feature is not being able to put your own references on transactions when transferring between your own Accounts. When sending money to other peoples accounts it only has the option for a reference onto the receivers Acct. Were-as overseas banks Offer the option of a reference on the receivers account as well as a separate reference on your out going Acct. Very annoying.

I felt well protected financially using this site

Useful but Cluttered

/Cam on

Does the job, but, the user layout is cluttered and confusing. Other banking apps are more straightforward, and push fewer 'extras'

Money transfer

When you transfer money using a phone and need to read the details on another part of the phone to add to transfer it logs out. Very frustrating

Problem Authenticating Mobile

Took numerous attempts to log in on my mobile?

Had problems with some thieving animals stealing small amounts from my account. Lloyd’s sorted the problem in one phone call and promptly refunded what had grown to a considerable amount. Moral is to check your monthly statement closely. Was 4 months before I spotted withdrawals. Pleased I’m still getting paper statements as easier to check as they arrive. Well done Lloyd’s! 🙏🙏😇
