Loopy Pro is a live-looper. And a sampler. And a sequencer. And a very capable AUv3 Audio Unit host. And a DAW. And an AUv3 Audio Unit.
You get the idea. Loopy Pro is deep. But it's also designed to be friendly, and a great deal of fun.
You can set up Loopy Pro to work however you do, with features like hands-free looping with count-in, count-out and automatic loop detection; or "free" looping, where you can choose on-the-fly how long to make loops. There's even retrospective recording, where you can lock in a loop after the fact.
There's extensive MIDI controller support, including built-in support for the Launchpad, the APC40 mk2 and the MIDI Fighter Twister, and effortless MIDI Learn for setting up your controllers.
You can also drag-and-drop audio straight onto loops in Loopy Pro, with sophisticated tempo and pitch adjustments, and use Loopy Pro as a clip launcher, with all kinds of options for song sectioning.
The built-in mixer lets you set up insert and send effects for every channel in your project, and load AUv3 Audio Unit instruments, effects, and MIDI sequencers.
And there's a built-in sequencer, for arranging songs, and even performing them live, totally automated and hands-free.

It’s The Best

I was using music software before MIDI was invented, and I’ve spent endless hours & $$$ struggling with bloated poorly designed software. Loopy Pro is a breath of fresh air; more of a Swiss Army knife for live performance than just a looper. Use it as a simple one button looper, emulate Ableton or Rc505, or create your own 72 channel fantasy monstrosity. Elegant, creative and intuitive. Sweet as.

Great App

I’ve owned a couple of hardware loopers in my lifetime and that’s been a wonderful time. After much use though I found myself having to start to create work-arounds to get more flexibility out of my hardware to keep up with ideas that started to develop in my mind over this time. So I found myself starting to look for perhaps software that may offer more flexibility and alas I stumbled into Loopy Pro. I sold my hardware bought a good foot controller and I’m off to the moon! 😅👉🤫

Hands down the best iOS looping workstation

Just unmatched in terms of feature set and user experience. Amazing work. The dev is super responsive and keeps actively developing and updating it too, and even if your sub lapses, you’ll still be able to enjoy the feature set you paid for, until you want to sub again. Too good.

The Best Experimental & Live Platform for Music yet (for me at least)

I’ve been working for quite sometime with AUM trying to build my perfect workflow for Jamming / Creating / Producing and then Live performing - This is it Yes it’s currently missing some features and has quirks, but man is it powerful, flexible and super customisable - and FUN I haven’t come across any problems I haven’t been able to solve with either custom action or a 3rd party App. Looking forward to having inbuilt Midi looping functionality, but dummy clips launching Helium / Atom or other sequencer works fine once setup. Truely inspiring to play with and learning curve is not too steep if you’re used to modern clip-based DAW like Bitwig (yea) or Abelton
