Content is great, but I miss the fast forward/rewind 15 seconds feature.
I pay for the subscription and love the content. I’m a sucker for any documentary. However the app has only worked twice and now refuses to even load the homepage. I’ve deleted it and reloaded it multiple times. The app is just useless for me and it’s really frustrating.
This is the SECOND time I’ve signed up for Magellan and to my dismay the app on iPhone 16 pro max on iOS 18 is still hot garbage. Scammy. Get you to sign up but the app never loads so it’s useless. I’ll be requesting a full refund AGAIN.
I’ve been a loyal Magellan subscriber for a while but I’ve got a big issue. Recently upgraded on Spectrum to Xumo, went to add Magellan, found I’d have to delete my current account (with all my fave bookmarked shows!) to sub to Magellan on Xumo! Please fix as I don’t need 2 accounts or to lose my faves!
Downloads seldom work. When I report the issues they can never be reproduced by the software team so, apparently I have the lone iPad in the world to have issues preventing me from watching downloads (or even downloading them in the first place). I’ve deleted the app, signed out, removed downloads, restarted my iPad, and anything else requested of me and issues persist. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve watched a download, but the most recent time I tried, instead of a video I got a black screen with a symbol on it (implying the download obviously won’t work despite having been downloaded successfully).

I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max updated to the latest iOS, and using the latest version of Magellan TV app. Search does absolutely nothing for me! Put in a search term, press return, or the “Search” button, and nothing. Nothing happens. To search for something, I have to go the the website, find my program, add it to my watchlist, then go back to the app. My subscription is almost up. I would like to renew, but until I know that search will be fixed, I’ll hold off. Please fix!!! Thank you 🙏
Trying to watch ANYTHING, so far all I get is a black screen. Nothing is wrong with my phone. Tried it on my TV, still didn’t work. Every other app works. Tried to watch 4 separate documentaries and each one only had sound and captions no video. I deleted and reinstalled, same thing…. I give up. Super disappointed. Deleted for good.
I’ve never had an issue with the app being buggy or any glitches, and I genuinely love the content on this app. But, there is no option for continuous / auto play when it comes to playing the next episode of any series / show that I’m watching on my Apple TV; and that’s absolutely ridiculous for 2024. Even though I like all the historical content, I hate that I have to stop what I’m doing to go out of the current episode, go into the new one and play the next one, especially if I am in the middle of cleaning or cooking and playing something on the tv in the background. I’ve been subscribed to this app for almost 3 months, and it’s just not convenient; so I’m canceling my subscription.
