At the moment the game won’t start in iphone 12 mini (2 days now) and I can’t report any problems cause haven’t bought anything in the game. So don’t know if I can ever play this game again. Thanks tho. Liked it.
Yes, Magic is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Crashes all the time. Lot of times you don’t reach to result and you don’t get the prize which otherwise you would have gotten.
The gameplay is slow and clunky, user interface needs a ton of work. While the core idea of the game is okay, it’s way too restrictive on the deck building. Nothing frustrates more than to lose because the deck you were forced to play with doesn’t work.
I am amazed how great a combination magic cards make with match 3 mechanic. Little lacking in visual presentation but worth a try if you crave something a bit deeper.
I keep playing because of the theme and how well the cards are implimented in the game. I like the game very much, even if it keep crashing every 1,5 games. Annoying, yes, fixable, propably.
Game freezes and network errors... oh well, at least no more crashes in the middle of a battle 😞 5 stars after issues fixed... I have iPad 4
Okay game but weak story and the usual F2P bs: way too much no sense grinding so you would buy gold with real money. Not worth your support.
I really like this game 🙀
If you enjoy(ed) the trading card game, then I highly recommend this one. Deckbuilding is still there and plenty of fun.
I’ve been a paper Magic players for nearly 30 years and a Puzzle Quest player for nearly 20. When I found out there was a game made by both - of course I had to try it! And I’ve found that it’s nice to have a fun little game that is both Magic and not-Magic.
