Still fun
If you enjoy(ed) the trading card game, then I highly recommend this one. Deckbuilding is still there and plenty of fun.

I’ve been a paper Magic players for nearly 30 years and a Puzzle Quest player for nearly 20. When I found out there was a game made by both - of course I had to try it! And I’ve found that it’s nice to have a fun little game that is both Magic and not-Magic.
I was charged twice for ‘Revolving Planeswalk - Well of the autocrat’ that is going on at the time of the writing of this review. I have tried restoring purchases and reseting the app. The most recent actions taken in the app were a victory in the Standard Training Grounds, netting me the crystals from there, bringing my total from 203 to 213. I tapped the join button for the revolving planeswalk, was charged, and proceeded to take me into the tournament page. Inside this page, it again prompted me to pay the entry fee, and then charged me for a second time. My total went from 213 to 173. I would appreciate a return of the lost crystals, please and thank you. Also, great work on everything so far, after the changeover. Your team really loves the game this app is based on, and it shows. Thank you for helping keep the passion for MTG alive for me.
I really want to enjoy this app, but it is glitchy. Kept freezing when trying to cast certain cards. And now in the event “plague control” it gets so slow I don’t even want to play the game.
Over the years I have deleted, lost device, or gotten new. Give it 3 weeks and this finds it way into my hands!!! Don’t usually tend to even upload old decks or profile, the grind is the fulfilling! Cat get enough. Great time killer, no ads(unless you opt for them) it’s fantastic! I couldn’t ask for much better. Great job folks! You have gained a loyal fan.
A clear lag to win advantage, new op cards put up ahead of time for exorbitant prices. Plus if you want to compete in legacy there are hard to get cards that you absolutely need, and the only way to really get them is to craft legacy 1/5000 chance of getting the one you want. Or you wait until the link set comes up and you spend it all or buy it. Some of this stuff you could get, but I’ve been trying for a gearhulk and a hour of promise for years now.
I’ve played this game many times off and on since it first launched, on android phones when I had a android phone & on iPhone when I had an iPhone. There have been times where I find myself getting a bit irritated because I’m not pulling the cards I want or need for my deck but than I have a small laugh because it’s just like opening a pack irl. The game has come along way since it first launched and I’m happy to see it still going strong & that it has solid ground to stand on now. Yes there are items in game you can buy with cash but they also make it to where you can earn the same currency that you can buy, you just need to spend a little time playing, so just jump in a event or two and do some story and next thing you know, you’ve already played for a few hours and have a sizeable amount of yellow mana crystals. The only issue I don’t like is how the tri color planswalkers are so expensive but at the same time, I understand why they are. Regardless however, the game its self if fun and has a very good balance overall for gameplay, features & of free to play and play to win, meaning if you want something like a tri colored planswalker asap, than you can buy the mana crystals necessary to get one or you can spend some time and earn the mana crystals for one.
This game has a ton of potential but unfortunately it’s operated by a company called Webcore (aka bugcore). They have absolutely no standards within their company. They release more bugs than they can keep up with and most the time, bugs go without being fixed. Support is a joke. They will tell you blatant lies and even say they won’t investigate bugs because others haven’t reported it or that it’s too hard to reproduce, even though you’ll send them details on how to reproduce it. The community, on discord, is amazing and the best around. Sadly, bugcore, has no community discord or anything. They rely on 1995 forums that are dead and dying, like their game. Give it a shot but don’t be surprised when you encounter a plethora of bugs. It’s disappointing because I’ve dedicated writing guides and recruiting people and now support doesn’t even respond to my tickets.
This card is way too overpowered, it breaks the game
You get a frankly awful champion to start. One of the main recommendations of the community is to buy a different one with in game currency ASAP. Then there’s something called Masteries, and if you use a card enough times you “master” it, but if you do this too many times to cards of that color, you bump into a higher difficulty, whether you’re ready or not. So really the advice of the community is “don’t progress, and don’t play with what they give you.” Game needs to revamp this system asap as it has tons of potential, but their systems are really out of whack. Furthermore, staying in a lower difficulty still nets you a similar Pve difficulty as the higher level players, you’re only holding back to avoid the tougher players in PvP events. There are event bosses you can’t beat without special cards (Tiamat) and the devs have disregarded the communities feedback.
