Would’ve been better if it had more manga

I was excited at first until I barely saw any manga. I think this would’ve been better if it had manga that is on the regular Crunchyroll app. Also, it always glitches out when I’m halfway through a manga.

Don't waste your time

They should work on the manga app if they are going to promote manga for anime readers. This app looks like a old demo that was put on app store and left to gather spider webs. There is little manga to no manga. And there is not a wide variety of it. If you sign up for anime AND manga, stay with only one because not only will the app close and cause errors but you'll be wasting your money.

Needs update to modern standards

This app is outdated, buggy, and quite frankly not as useful as it could be.

Barely functional.

Search works but only a couple of search results show picture thumbnails in search list (unlike other manga readers). Tried one manga and couldn’t even load chapter 2 or 3 when reading. If in overview for a manga series I could see some chapters but there was no way to scroll up or down to see more. Lots of potential with the interface, pity the actual functionality lets it down.

Needs more manga!

I pay for Crunchyroll- I happen to stumble across their manga selection and thought wow nice! However, it’s clear that this app was done very lazily. I wanna read things like jujutsu kaisen, demon slayer, assassination classroom etc. But guess what? None of those titles are even there!

Disappointed

The app hasn’t got any of the big three manga on there, hasn’t got some of the highest rated manga of all time on there, the selection is none existing and has more bugs than I can count with a interface fit only for an iPod 3G, prosbntl the worst manga reading app I’ve found… and they wonder why we all pirate it online

Needs some much needed TLC

App interaction: This looks like something from the first iPod touch days! It does fit quite right. The layout isn’t quite right when you compare it to other comic & manga apps (even mobile websites) it does have an outdated look. Your constantly asked to sign in every time you open the app, and you have to open a random chapter in the series your reading for it to re-register your progress on that series. Sources: Despite its outdated look it does have most of the latest manga…just not all the chapters 😑 it’s quite annoying when you get right into a series then the story suddenly jumps because the chapters in between are MIA. It’s a shame becuase despite this it’s not a bad app 😞 just needs some love like it’s Anime companion.

Good selection of manga available but could definitely do with some more. Also seems wildly out of date compared to the main app, and keeps logging me out which gets annoying after the 4th time in one day. Serious improvement needed.

Too buggy

I need to keep signing in and out to get things to load. Not a great app but not the worst. The reading helper thing is great!
