I have no idea how to use it or how to follow people. It still hasn’t sent me an email months after downloading. I was told it was a good Twitter alternative but it’s trash. Fix it up and get rid of the server system it makes no sense I don’t even know how people are even finding things to follow all the servers I can see are not related to anything I want to look at.
Scrolling very jittery, needs more work
I joined Mastodon shortly before leaving Twitter. I instantly fell in love with this platform. Eugene, actually understands social media (unlike Musk). Mastodon actually has more freedom of speech than Twitter. With the added bonus of being as free and not tied to one specific company
There’s a slight learning curve to using federated, decentralised social media service, but it’s worth it. No ads, no algorithm pushing outrageous content, and just generally nice and interesting people. The app itself is great. Give it a try!
It’s such a relief to find a social media messaging service free from the toxicity of Twitter. Very happy with the App. I hope many more people sign up.
I don’t think I’ll make the move over to completely unless we get a feature to turn off people’s re-toots a lot of people retweet stuff I’m not interested in or don’t want to see or in a different language

Cannot log in. Waited ages for emails then when they finally sent me a confirmation, the text boxes on the app don’t enable the keyboard! How am I supposed to enter my username and password - telepathy! Seriously, test your app or don’t bother
