Slow and overheats the phone
The functionality is there, but there are odd hangs in various parts of the app where it becomes unresponsive for several seconds, and it appears to heat my iPhone 11 Pro up. It's also a little odd for an official app to ignore character limits from servers and be hardcoded to 500 characters.
Commenting still not fixed
Fix this bug!!! The app freezes after about 150 characters and I have to restart. It’s been like this for months! Fix it!
Better than twitter
My mastodon feed tends to be better than my twitter feed after Musk started his latest crusade

Horrible content
Came across content that should be illegal in just a few clicks. No moderation whatsoever, a perfect example of what happens if social media isn’t moderated properly.

Main show-stopper for using this now, is images of screenshots of text doesn’t rotate when I turn my phone to get a readable size without cutting line length. Also wish I could disable having to click to reveal stuff. I’m an adult. I can handle it.

Omitting core features of mastodon
This app doesnt include local nor global content which is core functionality in Mastodon. This will create an headache when I welcome people to join my instance. I need to explain them to not use the official mastodon app. Its another obstacle that might turn people away from my community. Additionally, you can only sign into a single account. Meaning that you have to commit to a single society. The app is a hindrance to blooming small societies in Mastodon. It takes away decentralized in decentralized social media. I encourage the reader to use the Toot! app instead.
