Mattermost

Hi guys, your web version through browser and mobile version are not synchronised. I think you have a bug. I mostly use Mattermost on my MacBook and same time app on my phone pro max 14. When the new message arrives to my web version and it is not read, it is not reflecting in my app as a new. So happens that I miss my income messages. Also some read messages doesn’t appear in my app at all, same as attached files. Please fix this issue.

Web app works nicely, macOS app too - i dont know why your stupid mobile app cant find server - Hey guys, what are you doing up there??????? Now I have to log via browser… 🙄🙄🙄

I don't know why mattermost does this but every now And then someone decides to screw with version in field labeling your servers version obsolete And thus forcing server upgrade (since app outright crashes). Server upgrade is a **massive** PITA that requires manually deleting some files from the apps installation directory while keeping others And then replacing whatever is left by 'cp -r'. Whoever is reposnible for this mess ought to be punched And beaten up with a shovel. Repeatedly.

When support for Categories was announced, I was thrilled. I’ve rearranged my channels in the desktop app and it’s so much nicer. Now imagine my dismay when I discovered that this new feature is not supported in the mobile app and it just made a huge mess because I moved channels from Favorites to custom Categories. Also still no support for multiple servers in the mobile app. (I would gladly pay for improved mobile app, perhaps there could be optional “support the app” development purchase...)

Normal actions: sign-in the website via Safari or Chrome so GitLab can authenticate when signing in to Mattermost server with the iOS app. Now: GitLab opens internal Mattermost browser. I sign in to website. GitLab does not authenticate.
