The updates are nice but it seems to have brought issues to members of our team using the iOS app, many of us keep getting logged out repeatedly with ‘session expired’ but this has never happened in the past and means we have to keep logging back into the server
I like most of the new changes but its more difficult to change status and switch online/away as its not just in the top right at all times have to leave a channel to switch. Pain The bug fixes are great but in typical mattermost fashion the UI is evolving backwards
My company only allows log in through gitlab, which, although the option is present in the app, you cannot actually log in using it. This makes the app completely useless.
Safari works & connects. App doesn’t connect to same server as Safari. Bugs everywhere. Developer: you know the bugs, don’t ask me for bug report!

The Mattermost server itself is great, but this iOS app is buggy, buggy, buggy, buggy. I’ve missed messages because the chat view didn’t scroll down to show me them. I’ve had notifications not arrive. I’ve had messages suddenly vanish after they fail to be sent in a low-signal area. Sometimes I open the app and it immediately crashes. If you are using Mattermost already, you’ll probably be fine, but don’t choose the service based on how good the app is.
The app works as expected (though no admin functionality). The last of [ipad] keyboard support is a hassle though. The enter key on a keyboard doesn’t send the message (just adds carriage returns) and no cmd+enter solution is present. This means you always have to tap the screen after typing each message.
VoiceOver doesn’t read some app controls.
We have Mattermost on our desktop machines and we use it for our daily communications between various teams and that works great. Issue i have noticed when using Mattermost on iOS device, not good like desktop, app doesn’t refresh unless logout and login back.it will show sign for new incoming message but never download that message unless login fresh.
