Just rediculouse!I wrote to company before…the app crashing and loosing data,very,very slow…draining the battery like never seen before…awful experience

Great app. Works well even without a Bosch GLM measuring laser tool. Although I have recently purchased one just haven't had the chance to unbox it. The one thing Im puzzled with, is how one would draw up a room plan where a set of stairs are available for an upstairs/downstairs level. Perhaps in a future update they could be included under the windows and doors option.

This is great app for my Bosch laser measure, it just lacks in floor plans the ability to add doors, windows and stairs to the room, I would like to see it added including measurements for steps (tread and risers for if your measuring up for flooring like I’ve recently used it for.

I’m currently using the PLR 30 C when surveying properties. The app works quite well, but it could do with some additions/ improvements. All in all it’s a great tool to have. I’d like to request the below if possible: - When a wall dimension is drawn at less than 1m in length. A door can’t be added. It would be useful for the app to ask for the door opening dimension, when the icon is clicked on to avoid this issue. - when a door is drawn, a pop up prompt to ask if you would like to also measure the wall dimensions either side of the opening to avoid repeated steps. - Addition of lift doors as an alternative to a standard door. - double doors as an alternative to a standard single door. - basic furniture, eg: bed/ side table and the ability to select dimensions of the furniture. - basic switches and sockets locations and pendant light fitting locations. - Ability to export in a .DWG format to use in autocad. - better control over line creation/ editing in the sketch mode. It can be a pain to edit a line after the fact. - A basic drawing of a staircase, where you can select the opening dimension and a staircase is drawn with an intermediate landing between floors.

Good app, functions well with Bosch PLR-50, unfortunately though it currently crashes when generating a PDF (iPhone 12 mini).

After using this for some months on many projects in our new house, there remain multiple very frustrating issues and usability ‘quirks’. Development seems just so slow with minimal features enhanced. Simple things like entering manual measurements - if you miss the 0 before a decimal, the decimal is removed. You should just be able to enter .012 etc but you can’t. Lots of other usability problems and I frequently say to myself - “if only it did that basic function”. So it still remains a good BASIC app but could be considerably better if Bosch committed more (some) development resource to making it better. I guess as a free app that works with their measuring devices, there’s going to be limited cash or interest in making it better. Unlike a third party who sell an app. Original: Just started using this with a PLR 30 C and I’m very impressed. Connects simply and easy to add accurate measurements. Creating a floor plan is fairly intuitive but editing can be problematic and a bit awkward. The biggest issue is the lack of sync between devices so you’re left with projects on the device you used first and unable to edit on something else eg iPhone for quick and easy measurements but then unable to edit and refine on an iPad. I understand cloud and sync functions are in the works though. Really impressed with the PLR 30 C 😁

Hi, I WAS USUNG THE APP FOR A FEW MONTHS AND IT STOPPED LITERALLY WORKING. it is very slow between changing worksheets. Annoying as before I was very happy with it.

I’m a Architectural professional, use the lase GLM 150 for measurements. It’s great when doing site surveys, the only problem is it only exports PDF, which is a pain. And when you try and import the pdf into Autocad, the surveyed plan doesn’t import as a ‘vector’ line file instead an image. Basically you need to redraw it using the dimensions or trace it. Bosch needs to either allow .dwg format exports or make the pdf plan a vector file.

This application could be so much more. It needs a few more features to make it an excellent but basic application

I use this daily for measuring and designing anything from built in wardrobes to bathroom design. Unfortunately the cloud service or ability to export files that can be edited on another device is missing (despite being worked on for sometime). As I use both iPhone or iPad depending on scale of job and what device I have on me at the time, I now have projects on different devices that can’t be sent or opened on the other. Not the best workflow when trying to amalgamate for quoting in a bigger screen. If they could get that sorted, it would be fantastic. Apologies if I’m missing the function other than exporting an uneditable pdf or picture.
