Good start, needs some more features.

Needs a way to directly share images, text and so on directly without saving first. The iPad app doesn’t work well with password managers. I was trying to add my accounts using Bitwarden and the app wouldn’t bring up the keyboard. This particular features works fine with an iPhone. Good job on the app though!

The first Lemmy on App Store.

I used the early builds of Lemmy and I can see the UX has matured a lot since then. The animations are smooth, the haptics are right where they need to be. The focus on themes and customisation. The developers have done a really good job. However, there is still scope for improvement. The animations, though smooth, are a bit dragged out makes the UX feel slightly slow. The use of space can be better. There are regions in the feed view that are completely empty while other regions looking extremely busy. The use of different font sizes can better guide our eyes where to focus. Right now, the size of important texts (post title, community) is similar to the size of not-so-important texts (username, scores and counts). Having said all of this, the efforts of the developers are really worth noting! In a span of a month, they gave a really well made app to the public all the while listening to their feedback. I look forward to using it and seeing the app grow.

The overall best Lemmy client at the moment.

Memmy has a design language similar to Apollo. The app is clean, stable, and well organised. I used it since it was in beta.
