Error prone, sometimes suspiciously so
Nice UI, but constantly spams “An unknown error occurred during the request.” Even when I’m not doing anything - what is this app doing all the time?

Rating 5 stars as I otherwise love the app. The latest update seems to have resulted in no content loading - I get an endless spinner under all network conditions. Force closing the app has no effect. This has persisted for several days and the instance is up and reachable from the web (Lemmy.world). Have tried logging in and out and force closing and restarting the app.
Like so many people back in the Reddit days, I had a disposable username and password for my Lemmy account. Without warning, the recent update logged me out of that and I lost access to everything I’d subscribed to, plus all the funny and interesting posts that I’d saved. The Fediverse isn’t yet sticky enough for me to bother signing up again. The developer of this app just caused the Fediverse to lose another user. I really don’t want to go back to Reddit.
Add the ability to switch accounts. Right now you can add new accounts but you can’t switch between them, making adding them pointless. Literally just add a “switch to account” button on the accounts page on settings for each account.
It ain’t no Apollo, but it’s as good as it gets in terms of Lemmy clients for iOS. Excellent work!
Considering how quickly it has been put together, this app is incredibly clean and bug free. It also resembles Reddit and the Apollo app which is really really good.
Loving the updates keep it up
Apart from the bit where I couldn’t sign up and had to use the website instead, probably because I’m the website there’s captcha too while there wasn’t one in the app and it was just saying wrong password. Also it would be nice to sort communities by number of subscribers by default and to show number of subscribers or posts.
I’ve tried a few of the Lemmy/fediverse clients over the past few weeks and this one seems to be the stand-out project. This is to Lemmy what Apollo was to Reddit. It’s also being developed at a crazy fast pace! On testflight, the features just keep rolling out on pretty much a daily basis! To top it off it’s FOSS too!
Used narwhal for reddit for many years. Recently moved to lemmy but missed an ios app. So happy there is one now, and it’s great. A few minor things that will no doubt get sorted out over time. Main thing: did not like the feed originally, with some posts having large and distorted images. I would suggest making ‘compact’ the default setting for new users
