Functional but unprofessional ads
Overall, it’s an app version of the website, but I am deeply disappointed by the ads I’ve seen on this app—fake giveaways and scummy marketing tactics for fruitless casino apps, among others. Instead, I’d carry a physical dictionary rather than deal with the trash that pops up all around the search results.

What a great dictionary!
I was looking for an eng-eng dictionary when started to read a book in English and improve my vocabulary, that will work offline and this is what I needed. It is free, has 99% of words and even pronunciation (needs internet). Try it yourself and you will see how good it is.

Compliments for concise etymology
One of the outstanding advantages of Merriam-Webster compared not only to other English dictionaries but also dictionaries of other languages: A minimum and yet sufficient amount of etymology for each entry!
Valuable App
I like this app very much and I even paid for the subscription , but it does not open since two days. Please fix it !

Merriam-Webster is a lovely app. It’s definitions are concise yet comprehensive. It also has a intuitive user interface.
