Metropolis: Remarkable Parking

Arrive after a long flight, can’t enter garage. Check the app and it says the car left the garage yesterday. Did it get stolen? No because when I hit the button on my key I can hear the car lock beep. But I can’t enter the garage. Because the system thinks my car isn’t there I suppose? So a terrible product with terrible technology. Easily resolved by calling their support line? No, because their support is garbage too and apparently follows the same work schedule as a small town government employee who’s getting ready for retirement.

By far this was the simplest experience, as a first time Parker with the app. Setup was integrated with the first visit, fantastic. Added security in the parking ramp, the app will open secured areas so you have a better sense of safety if it is necessary. Checking out was as simple as driving away. Maybe the user fee on top of the parking fee was a bit high.

Good customer support but issue not resolved

Hardest part to this was scanning functionality under the garage. When I got better WiFi inside the airport, I never stopped to close the app because I was curious to check the tracking. I was impressed that I could always see what I owed and how long I was parked! All apps should be THIS easy!!

Pretty intuitive app to use for those reasonably proficient in IT concepts and Smart phones. May be somewhat of a challenge for those that are not. I had no problems. All worked well.

Very convenient but I don’t like that I don’t get a receipt. I have to dig around your site for a receipt.

These people are crooks and their app is terrible. It might look like a modern consumer tech experience, but behind the scenes they use dark patterns to make money off unsuspecting people. You simply drive in and drive out, but they don’t alert you when there’s surge pricing happening. I normally paid $11 for parking in a local garage. Then on a random Thursday night, I get charged $63! This was not posted outside the garage. I did not get a text message letting me know when I drove in. And why would they? I would’ve left and they wouldn’t have gotten their money. When I contacted customer service I was met with flippant denial, no meeting in the middle. The rep even acknowledged that it was a terrible experience. I think it’s borderline criminal. If anybody wants to file a class action lawsuit, please look me up. I’m happy to participate.

A good app for parking in Flushing,Queens.

Double charge for my parking session. I parked from 9am to 10am and paid. They sent me an additional bill for 9am to 6pm. I contacted customer service to resolve this. No one responded to my TWO emails.
