Description

Microsoft Planner requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription. This app does not support Office 365 personal accounts (for example: [email protected] or [email protected]). If you are not sure about your company’s subscription or the services you have access to, please contact your IT department.
Planner provides a simple, visual way to organize teamwork. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress.
-- Organize work visually --
Each plan has its own board, where you can organize tasks into buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to. To update the status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns.
-- Visibility --
The My Tasks view provides a comprehensive list of all your tasks and their status across all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what.
-- Collaborate --
Built for Office 365, Planner lets you work together on the same tasks, attach captured photos directly to them, and even have conversations around tasks without switching between apps. With Planner, all your team’s discussions and deliverables stay with the plan and don’t get locked away across disparate applications.
-- Works across devices --
Planner works across all your devices. And with Planner, everyone is always on the same page. Continue conversations and updates tasks while on-the-go or at your desk.

Super, I love to use this app!

Unable to open tasks

Unable to open tasks from iOS device after creating them from the same device.

I’ve heard great things… but…

ShrewdMan on

When Microsoft first launched this product, they had released it for everyone. Now, it’s gated behind the business and education plans for 365. This is painful for everyone who owns and purchases the family plans. Planning isn’t something that’s only for businesses. Families, and even individuals need these tools as well. Please make planner available for all versions of 365, thanks.

Only for work or school?

ChaseHughes on

United States

This is common ‘Microsoft Logic’, but this app should be open for anyone to be able to use. Outlook was also designed for business, but it’s still a great app that people use daily for personal use.

Thrilled

I love the utility. The user customization ability of the chart and the progression bars would get me emotional.

Microsoft just never gets it right

sketo on

United States

This app reeks. Got a hyperlink in one of the tasks? Can’t click it, edit only. Can’t select it to copy and paste, edit only. Am I supposed to memorize a web address like this is 1999? Need to change settings on a plan? Settings leads to an optionless screen. I gave up after using this junk app for 2 minutes.

Why does Microsoft not offer this app to personal 365 accounts?

Babcock567 on

United States

I don’t understand why Microsoft only offers this app to work and business accounts. I’m looking for a good planner/reminder app because I’m sick of using the reminder app generic to iPhone. I know I won’t get an answer to this question, so on to the next I guess…

What a PoC

MrBoots012 on

United States

Wow, what a PoC. As soon as you login, it says login expired, and you have to re-login. And, the create button on the planning page does not function…not sure about renewing MS 365 subscription.
