Description
Microsoft Planner requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription. This app does not support Office 365 personal accounts (for example: [email protected] or [email protected]). If you are not sure about your company’s subscription or the services you have access to, please contact your IT department.
Planner provides a simple, visual way to organize teamwork. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress.

Each plan has its own board, where you can organize tasks into buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to. To update the status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns.

The Microsoft Planner app will request permission to access your photos and your camera: When you try to attach a photo to a Planner task, the app requests permission to access your Photos app in order to select images. If you choose to take a photo to attach to a Planner task, the app will request permission to access your Camera app.

Great product but essential features missing.
When I started using task planner for my teams, I loved it. However I soon realized that there was no logging and a single source of truth while using this product. Any of the team members can change anything but there is no tracking, no logging. There is no record of deletions either.
Allow rearranging buckets
Bucket rearrangement not possible, also cannot rearrange checklist item order.
Good productivity app. Tad bit Slow
The App has very good features for tracking tasks status on the go. But the application is a tad bit slow. I am using iOS 16 but it does not operate like other Microsoft Apps. If that is improved, it will be lot more easy to adopt

This is the best app to manage everyday tasks…
Bad experience -
I am not able to attach teh files or any pictures in the task;s. Have restarted twice and have deleted twice and have reinstalled it. But still not able to attach files to the attcahment segment.
Crashes when trying to assign the task to someone
App keeps on crashing repeatedly when trying to assign someone to a task. Please resolve.
Superb tool for tasks or project management
The tool is very useful in task allocation and tracking. Be it for individual tasks or a series of them. An additional feature to link one task to another in sequence or show dependence will make this a killer PM tool. The hub could be a bit better displayed.
What’s wrong with using personal account ?
What’s wrong with you guys ? Why do I have to create some stupid school or work account and then use the app ? Why I can’t just use it with my personal email or whatever I want ?
Getting Control of your Life
I’m using it to plan my life better, bucketize how my time is spent. It has capability to group by buckets, priority and tags. Reason for 4 stars - they should add a capability to create repeated tasks. For example: Meditation - Daily 40 mins or Walk 1 hour daily, or Daily standup 30 mins. Right now hack is to keep the task open for long. This is much better application than TODO or Wunderlist by Microsoft. Team related tasks, not using at the moment because we use Azure DevOps for sprint planning and team assignment.
