Milanote FAQ
Is Milanote free?
Yes, Milanote is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Milanote legit?
🤔 The Milanote app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The app serves its function and is easy to use.
It’s not fully transparent about the pay wall which is ridiculously pricey.
Monthly- $240 p.a / yearly- $200 p.a (AUD).
Free 100 storage space is too low for even a casual user, being enough for one dedicated board.
Ultimately a time waster for people who don’t want to spend money.
App is okay, but outshined by and missing a lot of functionality from desktop
This app is very “alright.” It’s good for taking notes down, but lacks any way to sort, rearrange, or move boards or notes. You cannot access some items at all, like tables, even if you have them in your boards on desktop. There is no way (that I can find) to edit or add custom icons to boards, either. The simple list of items is okay, and probably a limitation of the small screen, but sometimes it can be hard to find things if you have a lot of items in a board. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that this app is at least three years old but still missing such functionalities. I am not sure that I’d pay the subscription for this if there wasn’t the desktop version to access.
Subscription cost
Free features are great, until you reach the 100 card limit. $10 a month just to remove that limitation feels pretty steep and unreasonable. I’m hoping they introduce more flexible pricing because unfortunately it’s driving me towards other cheaper options. But otherwise I have no complaints :)
best out there
👍
amazing but its so expensive :(
this is an amazing platform for me to really just do absolutely anything. i have been looking for a jamboard alternative, and this one is perfect and a lot better!! except when i was working on one project, which is the first board i made on this website, after 100 cards i couldnt add more. im really frustrated because this website is just absolutely amazing.. but $10 is ridiculous!! i truly thought it was free,, but i guess it is too good to be free. but i dont think $10/mo is worth it for a jamboard app.. if it really cant be changed i may not be able to use this anymore and im really say by that :( if you cant make it free, please at least make it cheaper and maybe take away the subscription system? $10 for life would be reasonable, but not every month!!! im begging for a more reasonable price for this app please?&?$?&? its so good and im so upset by the pricing :((
Can’t add anything to boards
My board says to tap + to add things and there is no + to tap in the iphone app
Great but super confusing
I’ve heard so much about milanote being amazing as a organiser and I want to use it for my art projects so bad, but it’s really confusing, especially the images. I want to add my own images but it won’t let me :C
Needs to reflect desktop
Everything that makes Milanote great on desktop needs to be implemented into the app, would love to be able to view the whole visual arrangement of a board instead of just a scrolling version of the board that’s just such a poor representation of what milanote is.
Could be better
If you are looking for some simple organisation app then milanote is fine, but the desktop version has way more to offer.
Poor experience with the Apple Pencil
Misses Apple Pencil strokes, especially when trying to print.
