Milanote is pretty much a game-changer for anyone in the creative biz – think designers, writers, the marketing crowd, and project managers. It’s like this cool digital space that gets the whole journey from “just an idea” to “let’s make this real.”
The vibe of using Milanote is super user-friendly. It lets you throw all sorts of stuff onto your digital board – notes, pics, links, you name it. This makes it awesome for gathering your thoughts, planning out what you’re going to do, or just brainstorming. Moving things around is easy-peasy; just drag and drop wherever you feel like, which honestly makes creativity flow way smoother.
Now, the team stuff is where Milanote really shines. You can work with your crew in real-time, give each other instant feedback, and keep an eye on how everything’s progressing. It’s perfect for making sure everyone’s on the same page.
But, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. If you’re new to Milanote, some of the fancier bits might take a bit to get used to. And while there’s a free version, it’s kinda limited. If you want the really good stuff, you’ve gotta reach into your wallet, which might be a bummer if you’re trying to keep costs down.
One thing I wish Milanote had? A quick-access widget for iPadOS. Imagine being able to peek at your projects or jot down a sudden burst of inspiration right from your home screen. That’d be super convenient, especially when you’re bouncing around and not always ready to dive into the app.
All in all, Milanote is a solid pick for creatives. It’s got a few quirks and could do with some extras (like that widget, please!), but it’s a powerhouse for getting your ideas organized and making collab a breeze. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re all about making ideas come to life.
It’s really beautiful app
It’s very good and I think they need a little bit more tools to be more flexible to work example
How can I share my page on my ideal but someone didn’t have this program
iPhone user!!
I just wanna say this app is good, I like you can put just about anything to help you organize and plan things out! However, as a phone user I wish there was a version where I could use this app on my phone (setting a board). It’d be super helpful to be able to have this option on my phone to be able to use the app since I don’t have a computer. Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
There's no way to add boards on iphone
Edit: Ipad works as expected aside from forced barriers in boards.
Iphone still non functional and boardless
When contacting the help team, I was sent a fake app screenshot clearly amplified for aesthetic instruction, showing a + icon in the top right corner of boards. However there isn't one. My app is fully updated and there is no + sign to be found. My phone is new and the latest IOS. I get a screen that says "Log in to Milanote.com on your computer to organize your notes into visual boards." When you go to their browser site they have it baracaded so that you cannot use it, even when requesting desktop site, they prompt you to get on your computer. I don't have one and can't afford one. This is extremely upsetting. Imagine being an app that doesn't do your primary function
Needs Offline Support
Wish this app was usable offline - I was planning to use it on the plane
i mean…
i saw others reccomending this app for moodboarding so i decided that it could be a good idea. it looks like a fine app, the only problem is you need to be on desktop to use the board feature. sadly, my computer has been mysteriously possessed or something but it’s not usable. unless you really enjoy taking notes but HATE the notes app i don’t see an appeal
Milanote >>> every other note taking app
I’ve tried Notion: too complicated & you spend time trying to design the perfect system such that you never actually take notes. Tried Evernote: you need a paid subscription to barely do anything and it’s pretty basic overall with very few useful features compared to apple notes. Tried: Obisidian: high learning curve when it comes to storing notes in the cloud (using a GitHub repot is prolly best option). Tried Roam Research: again dope concept but too complicated to actually use on a regular basis because you want all of your ideas to link together and the yearly subscription is too expensive.
Milanote is simple yet scalable. I’m a filmmaker and student (student discount available people!). It’s so easy to take notes or plan out scripts. I’m also very conscious of security. Milanote is end-2-end encrypted which can’t be said if all the note taking apps above last time I checked.
Thank you Milanote team for making such a freaking awesome app
Absolutely amazing but…
Heard about this from a sponsored YouTuber, decided to try it and fall in love with it. Probably one of the greatest apps ever for writing and gets ideas together. I’d recommend it to anyone getting into writing for a start. The only downside is you get a limited amount of space and the premium version price is a little steep(to me at least) for what the app is. I’m a freelance author not a doctor(lol)! Look, if you can afford the 12.50 a month(or 9.99 monthly for annual purchase) and you’re actually going to use it, I would recommend it greatly, otherwise I would try to find work around unfortunately.
Undecided
I’m having a hard time figuring it out. And now half my screen won’t allow me to draw or make notes on my board
Almost Perfect - App Needs Work
Love using Milanote for all my creative projects. The board design is perfect for keeping my work organized. But Milanote, PLEASE update your app for better functionality! I wish the app mirrored my desktop view or way at least similar. Instead, when you go into a board on mobile it’s just a long list with limited functionality and some cards aren't even visible. Please update this!!!!
