The “Basic” version of MindMeister is free. You can try the “Personal” plan free for 1 week after signing up! If you enjoy your “Personal” trial, do nothing and your membership will automatically continue as an auto-renewing month-to-month subscription.
If you subscribe via iTunes: Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan above.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings on the device.
If you haven’t subscribed through iTunes, you can manage your subscription through MindMeister.

So good and efficient app. Really love all the themes and possibilities in it. So worth of the pro version. I can recommend this to others. :)
Promising, but long way to go
Paid user here. After the update started crashing when opening maps and right after the start. No good. Please also make the links to other maps working without exiting the app and showing “What about shiny browser” right inside latest Chrome for iPad. Some maps are not opening showing “The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. 🤨 It opens just fine on web. Would be great to see thumbnails instead of identical pictures on map icons to have a clue what’s inside. Normally one would give one star for this beta level of quality, but I wish the app to succeed. Please kindly fix the app. 🤞🏻 We are also waiting for MeisterNote for iPad. Without it MeisterNote doesn’t make sense for our team.
Very intuitive
Works also seamlessly on different platforms. Only nag is the text editor, which lacks basic editing code funcionality. I think, that satisfactory level would be the same as in Slack message editor, which seems to use Markdown internally.
No Play
The Play doesnt show up in basic.

Buggy
Major bug in iPad version. Focus does not stay on mindmap when editing items in it. The view changes somewhere in a way that you see only empty backgroud. You have to zoom out the view in order to locate the map again. You cannot customize the color of the boundaries shapes... those are preset. As someone else also stated, need more visuals.
