The updating as you spend is important lol but especially if you need help on keeping a cap on your spending so this app is not the best for that. Otherwise I honestly found it nearly perfect

I’m with the largest bank in Canada, yet categorizing where my money is going when I have accounts and a credit card with said bank is nearly impossible. Untangling what a credit card payment is vs. when a payment is received cannot be done apparently, leading to inaccurate insights. Also, things like property value with Zillow cannot be accessed, and finding credit score requires you to input your SIN number. It’s easier to find my credit score through my bank and avoid giving another company my SIN. Further to the categorization issue, I cannot seem to link bills. But, you’d think once you categorize something as a payment, it would automatically show up as a bill…??

I thought this app was really going to help me track my spending and budget more efficiently, but was very disappointed when I noticed it does not refresh and connect to my bank or Amex. I have tried to manually force it to update, which works sometimes, but not all the time. So with this problem the app is useless, really wish this problem was fixed.

Since few days I try to login for the first time but it doesn’t work, either with my IPhone or IPad. :-(

Spent days researching, reading reviews etc to see if it was truly safe to connect my bank account. Decided it seemed safe, always a risk to do this of course but I was sold on the safety precautions. Downloaded the app, started putting in all my numbers, linked my accounts. Was really excited to get some things sorted and budget properly etc. No even an hour later I get an email from my Mastercard account saying there was an unsuccessful attempt to change my profile information. Had to cancel my credit card. Then immediately after that, RBC sends me a notification that there are multiple failed attempts to log into my online banking. I can’t say with 100 certainty that it’s correlated to the app, but I do know that not once in my life have I had any kind of issues with people hacking my accounts but almost immediately after linking my accounts to this app, I have all of these alerts. I find it hard to believe that is simply a coincidence.

The only way to use this app is to link ALL Of YOUR BANKING. One hack and all of your info is sold to whoever. I would not trust this app to secure all of my bank accounts and loan accounts. This is incredibly unsafe and not smart to use. Be aware!!

loved it at first, three days later my spending and trends haven’t updated. Other devices don’t update as well.

Wanted to like this app as I was looking for a budgeting and financial planning app, however; It crashes so often it makes it difficult to do anything. Additionally, the app is very inconsistent with account spending updates, it wont’s connect to EQ Bank, and Tangerine accounts and CC is very slow and inconsistent with transaction updates. I will say though that the apple itself seems well laid out and has the potential to be a good app if they fixed it up. The need remove all the bugs and improve on the performance stability, connections, and security. Intuit is supposed to be a reputable brand for accounting software, but the current state of Mint is not helping their brand and If I were them I would be embarrassed to have such an unpolished application under their brand. Very disappointed and I hope mint/intuit is paying attention and listening to all these reviews by fixing their product.
