Möbius Sync brings Syncthing to your iPhone or iPad, allowing you to synchronize selected files between iOS devices and other devices supported by Syncthing, without the need for any cloud service.
Supports multiple folders and multiple remote devices. Synchronized folders can be created either:
1. in the Möbius Sync sandbox and files can be added to and retrieved from shared folders via the iOS Files app; or
2. (PAID feature) by accessing other apps' sandboxes. This feature is EXPERIMENTAL and may break other app's functionality.
Uses the open-source Syncthing engine internally.
Usage within the Möbius Sync sandbox is free up to 20MB. Unlimited file sync, including files in other apps' sanboxes is available for a one-time purchase.
NOTE: The functionality unlocked by in-app purchase is identical to that in Möbius Sync Pro (which is purchased up-front).

This is an effective integration of syncthing onto the iOS system. Some functions are limited by the underlying OS (such as intermittent rather than continuous background sync) but overall a brilliant app.
If you are use to syncthing it is easy to setup and the system allows you to be the only one in control of your data (no third party servers storing your files etc.)
No doubt it’s good, but…
I’ve got no doubt it’s good, but I’m limiting to 3 stars since without paying you can’t do (what are in my opinion) basic tasks like syncing any more than 20mb, I’m trying to use syncthing to sync my music library and if I settle with this free version I won’t be able to sync a lot (bad considering I’ve got multiple playlists with tens of songs to sync, which relative to most other people is very little music). The UI is rather finicky but it’s literally just the syncthing WebUI so that’s to be expected, this would be a point of contention for me if I didn’t know that getting it working was probably really tedious for the developers. Though Dd consider adding your own full frontend someday, I think it’d be a very nice addition.
If you consider this not a free version but a free trial instead then it makes a lot more sense.
Not worth the hassle - avoid
After switching iPads, my Premium access disappeared. I've been trying to get my this restored, but the developer is near-impossible to contact, as the contact form on their website is broken and the only way to reach them is via GitHub. Now, after the best part of a week, my multiple attempts at contact are going entirely ignored with no hope of a resolution, so unless this is resolved I have no choice but to leave a review to ward others away.
Great
Works really great but it would be great to have more frequent updates of the underlying syncthing engine.
Really good
Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this, it works really well.
It would be really nice if photo upload could be added in the future - I do understand why it isn't implemented right now, but I feel like 1-directional sync could work (eg, upload photos from iOS but don't download any). Other sync apps have exactly that; Dropbox, nextcloud, etc.
Aside from that 1 feature being missing, I really like this app and it works great for what I need.
Cant purchase on iPad and iPhone 8 Plus
Love this thing. Was able to purchase on iPhone 13 Mini, but sadly cannot do the same on my iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus due to rendering issue. Cant tap anywhere on the screen when Purchase dialog shows up. Additionally, the dialog box has rendering issue where everything is out of alignment. Please fix it.
Actually works
I was a bit unsure how well a SyncThing wrapper would work on iOS but this seems effective so far, which is a real relief for me. Due to the oddities of iOS for background scheduling it has to use a few tricks to do so, but it’s no more awkward than any other solution and seems sensible in its setup. So far it seems to use less power than Secure Shellfish does to sync a folder, and it’s more adjustable.
Waiting for ability of photo and othet apps files to be synced.
Looks promising. For my needs I'd need features that hopefully can be added in future like photos sync and sync files of other apps eg. hi-res music files for Onkyo player (or other capable player).
Love this app!
Thank you, I love this app!
But what is the difference between the purchase and the pro version?
Not voiceover accessible
I absolutely love syncthing on my desktop machines. It’s lightweight, fast, and once it’s set up it just works. I am sorely disappointed that I can’t bring that to my phone. I am blind and I use voiceover. I can’t make it past the splash screen. If I enable screen recognition, I can make it to the next screen where it appears to be something about notifications, but everything is unlabeled and broken. Shame
