My app remembers me so I don’t have to sign in every time. It does not however, remember my country so every time I open the app I’m greeted with incorrect prices for my area. It has also reset to default USA during my shopping. Would be nice if you could zoom in on items in the iPhone app. Great app otherwise!
Why do I have to change my country every time I use the app? Seems like a simple enough thing for an app to remember, especially when I’m signed in. I love all of the clothes I’ve bought from them, but the app is frustrating to use.
I’m glad ModCloth finally isn’t Walmart anymore so I can shop there again, but the app is so terrible I can only shop on the actual website. It won’t remember my country is Canada so I have to update that every time I hit the back button, and for some reason the app turns my music off on my headphone on each product I click or basically any time the app loads a new screen because the iPhone thinks that there’s sound or a video playing when there clearly isn’t. It’s really odd. It also sets me back at the beginning of the category after I add something in my cart and I don’t enjoy scrolling back through the same products to get where I was.
A good app for shopping, but I have to manually set my country to Canada every time to see offers and proper pricing. Why can’t the app remember my preferences? It’s very inconvenient.
I would likely shop here a lot more if the app wasn’t so frustrating. Constantly freezing and crashing, never saves my shipping to country. Bad experience!
I don't think this app can handle the amount of traffic its getting. App freezes often and crashes. Doesnt save the country I am shipping to ever. Cart doesnt auto update after you add an item when you go back to browsing. I would just use the website since i’ve never had a problem on it but the app has so many discounts that are exclusive to it...so it kind of forces you to have an annoying but money saving experience :/

The app still doesn’t work well after nearly a year I wrote last review. Why is nobody trying to fix it? The menu on top doesn’t work and also search button. When clicked nothing happens. Only saved items and basket icons work. This means I cannot search what I want and can only look at what recent deals are. It limits the shopping significantly. The website is dysfunctional too, in the same way. It’s a shame. Used to work very well.
Before all the updates, I could see my love list, search no problem, look at sales and different categories, but now I can’t do that. Since the updates, 1) my currency constantly changes to USD even tho I’m in Canada and I continually change it back to CA (which is a common occurrence from the reviews I’ve read), 2) it constantly logs me out of my account every 15 mins and I have to log back in, 3) I can’t search or go on different categories anymore, I can only see what’s featured on the main page, 4) my love list disappeared then reappeared but half of the items I loved were gone. I used to love this app and the clothes it had, now it’s a complete nuisance to use and buy from. Modcloth should be making their app better and more user friendly rather than doing collabs with different fashion labels. That’s not going to get you more customers. Focus on what needs fixing now before moving onto big projects that will just put a temporary bandaid over the problems.
On the odd chance I can actually get the app to open, I still can’t use it. It won’t let me sign in, it resets my currency every time, searching is a joke, and so is limiting results. I hope Mod Cloth corporate did not actually pay someone to design this app. Actually, maybe they should have paid that person more. Maybe it would work then.
