Search function doesn’t appear to be working the way it once did. I used to be able to search for, say, “protracker” on Modland to specify I wanted songs from that folder followed by further criteria like song name / artist and get results but now I get nothing. I’m not sure what’s changed but I hope it’s temporary as this is much less flexible.
Absolutely excellent multi-format player, and with the recent SID player update, SIDs now sound absolutely perfect. Plays just about everything under the sun, including formats you didn’t even know existed. The built in links to Modland and HVSC, among others, is great for finding the tracks you love.
Have been using this for ages and love it. However, the latest update (v3.4) has effectively crippled it. SID tracks won’t reliably play, favourites don’t work, sound and tempo of SID tracks has completely changed, tracks skip randomly. 🙁
One of my all time fave apps. There is so much packed into it, it’s mind boggling. Lots of love and affection has gone into this and updates happen frequently. Hope it grows and grows. God bless the devs
Love how I can play native formats for game music, so I can play them in infinite loop. But I wish there were a more modern UI, hence not 5 stars.
The player used to be great, but now only plays the first track in a compressed vgm directory.
App receiving great updates like a multi track oscilloscope (like in a real tracker) and also the ability to play per hardware channel (awesome for breaking down custom Amiga tracks into 4 separate channels. Last remaining option I would love is an export per channel to wav/flac. But understandably it’s not really what the app is for. The only thing I miss is the number of stars I can allocate on a track: used to be 1-5 stars so could rate my collection and listen to only 4-5 stars for example. Now it’s just a heart or not a heart, so that’s a bit lame if I’m honest. Don’t see why the dev regressed that feature. But it’s unimportant in the big picture. I just downloaded first samurai.mod has a zip and it played, has for converting music this is easy done with a in app recorder or out your earn socket. Simple.
Not sure if its a bug in the app or ios but I cant get it to appear in the Files app share list anymore meaning I cant open files locally anymore. Also would be great to add the ability to load from Cloud services such as Onedrive and Dropbox from the app
I mean that it would be great if you can download some tracks from private collection from dropbox and play it on the app
