Monal - XMPP Chat

I’m having difficulty with getting my account verified, and I can’t see find anything helpful in the support for the app.

Using it with a Openfire Server. Connects fine but crashes frequently. Just closes, no message, nothing.

Why i cant download the new version

I've tried a lot of these XMPP clients and Monal is by far my favourite. Recent updates added ability to favourite and remember group chats which turns this app from Functional to Wonderful for me. I also use XEP-0363/http file upload a lot and this seems to be the only client I can find that works correctly. Thank you so much!

Won't connect.

Setup is super easy and it does everything it says on the tin. Most servers I connect to have those self signed Certs so I have to remember to flip the switch in the settings. But other than that this app rocks! Brilliant work guys!

Great for securing sexting

Please fix the issue cannot connect to jabber server running on OS X tiger, Talkonaut this is also here on AppStore works fine but this app cannot connect at all . Tried different settings same problem just disconnects

I'm having issues connecting to a Jabber server in both the March versions using a iphone 5 running the latest iOS version. I loved this app prior to the March releases! I've tried everything on my end; changing the port to 5223, toggling the SSL and other advanced options, and even creating a new log-in and password. I can connect through beejive and IM+, but I prefer Monal. Please look into!

Granted this app could work on its UX a bit. But it works well with XMPP protocol and if you check around, it is one of the few that does not store your password and account info on any middle-man server. A nice piece of software for any company and individual interested in limiting the disclosure of potentially critical account information.
