Given the very considerable cost of buying a high-end mirrorless camera, it’s crazy how bad and glitchy Sony’s own App continues to be. It’s broken my heart in multiple occasions, with three different cameras, failing to connect in random occasions or suddenly disconnecting in the middle of a crucial operation. The free version of Minitor+ is nice as it gives you an impressive and useful basic monitor for nothing. But the paid version is absolutely brilliant, adding a ton of great features like remote recording, LUTs and phone transfer, all of which it manages smoothly and stylishly. This is a must-have app for owners of compatible Sony cameras. Highly recommended
