Description

Conquer the world starting from your single home city. Each city can build units (either tanks, planes, paratroopers, bombers, transports, destroyers, battleships, submarines or aircraft carriers) in order to explore the world and defeat the other five AI controlled enemy players.
There's a lot of AI in the computer's moves and the maps are randomly generated, so each game is interesting and challenging.

Super game. Played many games. But I click on a screen of map of the day and the game crashed and cannot restart. Help

Map of the day

I love this game. Bought every update. Map of the day? Any diff from the map generator/customization update I purchased last year? Why would I pay you to generate a map for me while I can use the map making feature I a,ready paid for? Am I missing something? Oh can you increase the difficulty level. I’ll definitely buy that update. Great job Sean!

I love it

Great to see strategic conquest return. Needs some minor interface tweaks, but otherwise has the best of the past with some great moves for the iPad. Can hardly wait to see what they can do with double taps etc. Would like to see artillery and bombers with ever increasing blast zones as the game progresses. Good job! But......big but here. Do not upgrade. The upgrade is buggy and you will loose all of the games you paid for if you reboot the program. I would drop a full two stars because of this..but this app has another flaw.

Horrible

Very bad game, it has no good actually fun parts considering you can't even figure out how to play!!!

EMPIRE!

I have an Amiga 1200 set up specifically for Empire, and if you are a fan like me, you will love this game. Things I would love to see: -direction arrows on the edge of the screen or in a central spot, like the center icon. on the iphone the little ones are a bit tough. (this is a biggie) -draw a line for unit deployment -supply routes -patrol routes -slow down/replay, or have a list of computer moves. -ability to zoom in and out: not a biggie but would be cool, give us an overview of the whole discovered map -Multiple games going, with password lock -Go a direction command -scout for tanks -random maps we can't see -hit points on units- repair when in cities -keyboard support? I haven't tried with a bluetooth keyboard, but that would be cool- keyboard connected, directional arrows go away. -unit status. -play a friend online would be sweet, even via pass and play, bluetooth or network. I have a few friends who would be thrilled to sit around a table at a restaurant and play each other. Developer has an opportunity to create a game that will continue to make money perpetually- extra maps tourneys quick ad bug at round starts Anyways, thank you for giving us back Empire and making it portable and keeping it it close to the original.

Empire lives!

A decent rendition of the old text empire and related games. Pretty good, but I have a few wishes: * zoom setting so I can have slightly larger squares, at the cost of seeing less of the world. * the ability to set destinations rather than moving pieces one square at a time. * really REALLY need auto-paths for new construction, for new arrivals, and for repeating orders. Older versions let you set up these paths to dramatically reduce the amount of micro-management required. * empire-wide management screens would help a lot -- ie spreadsheet lists of cities and units. * have an option to turn off the surrender messages... if I want to pummel the enemy into dust, I don't want to listen to his annoying attempts to surrender!

Interesting game - like the old atari / commodore 64 / PC "Empire" game - well done. If your are a nostalgic - you will love this one
