VRC 700

Since the last upgrade the program crashes when the heating is set to auto and is totally unusable. I have reported this but have been told that other users have the same problem and this has been escalated. So far NOTHING! I am left with an useless waste of money!

Had this system for a number of years, and yes it was and could be a little glitchy with it losing connection and set up data, but since the updates over the past two months it has stabilised and working spot on, so I’ll give it 4 until I test it for a wee bit longer.

It’s a little bit unstable from time to time - says it can’t connect or doesn’t update the flow temperatures properly - but overall works well. More info on consumption than you can get off the VRC700 itself which I like. And I can set the heating when I’m away.

This app appears to have worsened over the last 3 years. Constantly declares faults ans loses internet comnection when other remote apps are working fine. Please get a good software developer to sort it out!

I have been using the app for a while now but still find it is still full of bugs. For a while my location would not stay on my home location, it kept changing to another city, country and time zone. The latest problem which has been going on for a few weeks now is the App keeps logging me out and removing the room current temperature display for each room. I then have to go into each room and edit the settings to display the room current temperature. Unfortunately once you have bought a number of radiator thermostats your stuck with the Vaillant system unless your willing to spend a considerable amount of money changing to a more reliable system.

It works, but I have to shut it down and restart every time I use it as it comes back with an error. I’ve contacted support a few times but it’s not been fixed even after a few updates. There seem to be other Vaillant apps they’re focusing on, but they aren’t compatible with our system. It’s slow to refresh but that’s not too bad.

We have had issues for months. Server not available, various faults, logging out. It’s a joke. Spent so much money and can’t rely on it all. We are wasting so much money when we can’t turn our heating off remotely almost daily now. Seems it got worse in winter.

They never tell when they’re doing updates, they treat users of their system as if they’re always operating in Beta. Get a Hive system instead, don’t waste your money. Read the other reviews and then make your mind up! Total waste of money!

Needs some work on this app. You can add rooms control heating but it need some profiles or ability to add copied complete house profile that you can make a slight edit to some rooms and call it a profile like guests or cold , hot , only two at home So you can simply launch these profiles with one press. You need about 4 minimum modes best to do atleast 10 this covers a large house. I use about 6 different brands and Heatmiser is the best out there for quick profile function Always best look at other manufactures ability before you design then you can make it better then starting out below them

Quite slow and unreliable, especially over weekends. Looks like ops team doesn’t bother about service reliability outside office hours
