Destroyed it! It‘s not Muse anymore!
With Muse 3.0 you actually have destroyed the whole Philosophy behind the origin Muse! I am really very angry and appalled. You have now optimised the UI and UX for desktops and it is no longer optimised for iPad, which makes a nonsense of the whole concept and the original idea! - It is now visually cluttered. A bar at the top crosses the entire width of the screen instead of it just being discrete icons. The immersive experience clearly suffers from this, as Muse was originally meant to feel "real" and intuitive. As if it were a desk with a third spatial axis. The very least is that the interface must be tidy. Tapping on the interface (which you first have to activate in the settings) doesn't make it any better, because: - There is no longer the inconspicuous icon that showed the entire surface when touched. Instead, you now have to click on the zoom out icon on this bulky bar first. Before, it behaved and felt so inconspicuous that it didn't throw me off - like when you raise your head briefly to get an overview of your desk in real life. That's gone now! Immersive experience suffers further. - The top bar and the lower icons (to make matters worse, more incomprehensible) at the bottom don't just disappear with a swipe of the Pencil. What can I say ... ? - I currently have the most powerful tablet model on this planet earth, the larger iPad Pro with M processor. Nevertheless, the visual effects/movements stops or freezes as soon as I move something. This affects everything, the surface on which you can work as well as the settings menu, for example. - And now there is one thing that... what? I honestly can't find the right word, but why the hell did you remove the function that lets you get out of the current board with the two-finger pinch? I can get into the board with two fingers apart, and I should be able to get out of the board with two fingers together. This is basic UX knowledge. Instead, now, again, you either have to make the top bar appear first and then press the Back arrow (just like in a desktop application), or you have to *swipe* sideways with three fingers. Why the heck do I have to swipe on the X-axis of something I just entered via the Z-axis to get out of it? It makes no logical sense at all. Conclusion: It is so badly done in parts with the app that I have serious thoughts about it and wonder if this is done on purpose to make the app worse, and if so, why? For me Muse before was something I counted on being able to use in m
