Highlights is a fast and lightweight PDF reader (under 10MB) packed with features to help you do your best research.
Free users have access to standard PDF reader features including document browsing, reading and annotating. There are NO ADS, time limits or tracking.

Super App, würde ich sofort kaufen wenn es sie nicht nur im Abo gäbe.
Niedrigerer Preis und neues Icon
Eigentlich ein Super Tool um PDFs zu lesen und sich wichtige Parts daraus zu markieren. Die App funktioniert angenehm schnell und sieht relativ nativ aus. Der Preis für die Proversion ist leider wirklich mit 30€ pro Jahr zu teuer. Viel mehr würde ich mir hier eine Einmalzahlung wünschen, für diese fände ich 30€ immer noch viel, aber nicht überteuert. Dem Wunsch nach einem anderen Namen und Icon schließe ich mich an, aktuell wirkt die App wie einer von 1000 PDF-Readern.
Handschriftliche Notizen
Bitte Möglichkeit des Handschriftlichen Notizen machens, also mit Apple Pencil einfügen! Einfach neben dem Dokument, also nicht dort wo die Zitate gesammelt werden. Wenn das eingefügt wird, bekommt ihr 5 Sterne.
Quite buggy. Not worth the price.
I gave it the benefit of the doubt, even with its high price. Unfortunately the app is super slow, duplicates files and crashes constantly.
Schöne Ansätze
Die App zeigt sehr schöne Ansätze, es fehlt aber an der sorgfältigen Umsetzung kleinerer Details. Es bleibt eine App, die ich gerne lieben würde, aber dann frustriert verlasse. Leider scheinen Bugreports und andere E-Mails beim Developer direkt nach nil verschoben zu werden. Schade!
Müll
Nicht zu gebrauchen, eignet sich für Texte die in spaltenform geschrieben sind nicht, da nur die ganze Zeile markiert wird. Somit oft unbrauchbar.
Cannot even bookmark ???
Is adding bookmark a very difficult function to integrate in your apps with all the other unnecessary fancy features? Cannot understand how that is missed
Hangs randomly (2022 iPad 12.9 5th gen)
Experiencing random freezes while highlighting.
Perfekt,aber…..
Mir fehlt lediglich die Option, dass man handschriftlich eigene Notizen wie z.B. Schlagworte neben dem eigentlichen Text verfassen könnte!
