Music Flow Player

Most of the people reporting problems on here is because they just don’t have a clue how to set it up. I have a sound bar, bridge and x4 H3s all working perfectly. It’s all about understanding the set up and how the network works between them. Correct router and bridge set up is key and obviously speaker placement. 99% of the poor reviews on here is all based on user error. Obviously it’s an app and all apps can be buggy from time to time. And obviously it has to sync again if your smart devices is off the network. Well mine works perfectly and sounds just amazing. And the app is fit for the purpose.

When will LG release an update to upgrade their speakers with the latest version of Chromecast? It seems like they have forgotten about the customers who invested in their products, but now can now longer cast certain streaming radio programmes due to out of date Chromecast software. It would make a huge difference if we were able to keep up to date with Chromecast versions.

lG SH7 constantly disconnects from optical and puts itself on WI-FI. Read up to update the software and download the app to do so. Took for ever for the app to pick up the soundbar. Managed to update eventually but the soundbar continues to change from optical to Wi-Fi of its own accord ever 2 minutes. Then when you go to switch it back on the app the app has disconnected itself and makes you re-sync again. It forgets the Wi-Fi password so you have to re-input the Wi-Fi password every 2 minutes. Worst app I’ve ever come accross, my sound bar is soon to be thrown for the highest place I can find and the satisfaction I will feel seeing it smashed to pieces will almost be worth it. LG a multimillion dollar company and this is the app they provide, absolutely disgraceful. Shame on you LG. Everywhere I look on Google all I see is the same problem with no fix and LG doing nothing about it. DO NOT BUY LG SOUND BAR, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO USE THIS APP IT WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE!!!!!!!!!

Doesn’t show all of my playlists on Apple Music

Blew the dust off the door jam (really good at this) of a speaker after update and tried to connect to my NAS.... Put in IP address and wow! It connected... amazing. BUT, but it didn’t last.... it lost the NAS almost immediately and despite repeating the search just refused to find it??!! So relocated back where it is most useful.... next to the door.

Since upgrading, I cannot connect to my Music Flow system at all. Chromecast works but this app doesn’t. Warning to you all if you have a home system using these and Apple devices you were thinking of upgrading to iOS 14 on.

I literally am so annoyed that I cannot see my MiniDLNA server on this app. I can see it in any other app that supports MiniDlna but not on LG’s App which is frustrating because I want to stream the music directly to the soundbar so that I can change the songs via the remote control!

I am connected to wireless, but the app seems to think I am not. So I can do absolutely nothing. Zero. It is comically useless- all I want to do is connect to the speaker. Tried Bluetooth, tried their apps. It is quite hard to launch an app that neither works, nor gives you any scope to resolve any issues. This app has ensured I will not be buying LG again. It is remarkable how useless the music flow interface is (on the basis it does nothing)

A terrible piece of software. Neglected. Poor translation. No Apple Music service support. No Airplay support. Worst of all rinses battery - stealing 100% in the background - when not even used. Deleted!

App works fine for me however since I installed it my phone batter started going low unusually quicker than ever. And when I checked the battery stats this app used 68% of it despite not being used at all! That’s well and truly unacceptable.
