Is MusicView legit?
🤔 The MusicView app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Seems very hit and miss across the broad selection of widgets which I love especially the one we can customise also love it works with both Spotify and Apple Music but the widget then does nothing but a weird jumping up like it’s going to launch then back to a widget. I’ve tried rebooting and all other tricks with no luck. Seems to occasionally with with AM in the mid size widgets and even then it’ll crash so you are left with either control center or Dynamic Island control. I’d like to of tried the pro version had this of been a stable experience I no doubt would’ve as do like a widget that works and can be customised. So hope the dev cab fix with updates and give us some reliability to this - it could & would be a great if that happened 😎👍
Good but….
Would love a transparent back ground option, so I can see my background, rather than having to pick a colour, photo or the dynamic option
Not working
When I add a widget on the desktop, the widget screen is black and it does not detect Spotify
Song icon never refreshes
It’s an ok up, let down by the fact the song icon rarely refreshes. Even a force refresh within the app fails. Please either fix or release the option to remove the song icon so I don’t have to stare at the wrong one. Thanks
An amazing app! But one flaw
This widget is honestly the best, the fact Spotify or Apple Music don’t have these as stock widgets is bizzare so this really does bridge that gap.
It’s easy to setup, looks great and the widget options are good too.
The only issue I personally have is when using music controls from the widget, it jerks a little and you vaguely see the widget increase in size slightly and then pop right back down to normal size. Not a major issue though
Still love this widget 😊
A Must Have Widget
Been using MusicView for a while and the app only gets better and better with each update. The last update introduced dynamic backgrounds for the widget which look amazing on the Home Screen and is more stable when refreshing tracks. Looking forward to seeing what’s next on the horizon for the app. Keep up the fantastic work.
Waste of money
The app glitches non stop and 1 or 2 out of 4 artists / songs shows up BLANK all the time which is extremely frustrating - wouldn’t recommend
Control panel
I’ve had enough time to play around with this widget and I don’t mind the money spent as it was pretty cheap, despite all the amazing custom options and that it works pretty well overall it has came to my attention that while the app is installed and connect to spotify, it wont let me play/pause or skip my songs from the control panel on my actual phone (NOT the widget), i dont really know if this is an app issue or a software issue but otherwise it’s almost perfect
Good
Good app, looks great on ur Home Screen however some times when trying to pause/play or change tracks from the widget it Doesn't work or the song will change but stay the same on the widget. I wouldn't let this stop you tho
Not sure what part of this is my understanding of a widget!
I thought I would have something I could have showing on my Home Screen, that would allow me to easily dip in and out of my music. But apparently not!
Disappointed to say the least. If I’m missing a trick, I’m happy to be corrected!
