With the MVG Fahrinfo München app, users of public transport in and around Munich can get from A to B easily. It allows you to quickly find the right connection and buy the right ticket directly.
Over the course of summer 2024, MVG Fahrinfo München will be replaced by the new MVGO app. It offers all the important public transport features and more.
You can already download MVGO from the App Store. You can easily transfer existing HandyTickets/subscriptions to MVGO.
MVGO is the mobility app for Munich and the surrounding area that combines public transport and sharing services. Including: mobile tickets, connection information, disruption reports, live departure times, bikes, e-scooters, car sharing, charging stations and much more.

DO NOT USE THE INAPP SHOP
As others have mentioned, do NOT USE THE SHOР that is inside the app!!! Their рayment system is faulty, and after almost half a month it did not recieve my рayment for a striрe ticket! I did not recieve a single email about the issue only a one from a debt collection agency with a ridiculous fee for their services and a threat of court рrocess! For 15€!! Seriously, I feel like the customers should have some form of notice before sending the ‘big guns’ and not have to check your internet banking if for some reason the рayment has not come through.
Not worth installing
Everytime you have to send the money directly after getting invoice to your mail… in 2022, yes… ADD APPLE PAY! Not worth installing.
Do not use this app if you are a foreigner!
Your credit card will be rejected when you try to buy a ticket, then they will send an invoice (in German which is easy to miss) then send it to collections. Just trash.
Not convenient at all
The app requires too much personal information in order to sign up. Why do I need to provide my address and postal code in order to buy a ticket? Unbelievable.
