My Baby Heart Rate Recorder

I wanted to know if this was true so I tried it on my six year old sister and there were heart beats, so I know that it’s fake because my sister is only six so she can’t be pregnant

Just used my Doppler and baby’s heart rate was great and easy enough to find, she’s also been kicking around non stop, yet when I use this app it’s silent. If I didn’t have my own Doppler this could result in me freaking out, please don’t trust what an app tells you, I just done this for fun.

Honestly, I'm appalled that this app is allowed. As a pregnant woman of course I would love to hear my baby’s heartbeat all the time. But this is not possible with an app on your phone it is only possible with a medical doppler. Shame on the app creator for playing on ghee vulnerability of anxious pregnant people and shame on Apple for allowing such products on their platforms!

As a qualified midwife, finding out from a patient that this app existed has horrified me. Listening to a baby’s heart rate is only possibly through use of professional medical equipment and by people who are trained to use it! This app can falsely inform women that their babies are fine when actually there may be a serious underlying problem which can result in a very sad outcome. Please please if you’re ever in doubt about your baby’s movements or wellbeing, consult your midwife or doctor instead of relying on an app that can apparently detect a fetal heart rate on a chair!

Im only 17 weeks so it’s hard to find but definitely going to keep this app so I can try again soon. It picked up my heartbeat perfectly and I’m pretty sure when I put the mic to my belly it was my baby moving I could hear. There are adds but it’s why this app is free, once you click record and it takes you to the saved recording turn your Wi-Fi off before clicking the back arrow button and then turn it on again to record, bit of effort but worth it so you don’t have to watch a 30 second add every time.

Doesn’t work. Couldn’t even pick up my heartbeat. I followed all the instructions and was in a quiet room.

I was sceptical after reading reviews that you could hear heartbeats in everything but I recorded my own heartbeat, my husbands heartbeat and then his stomach and my stomach in multiple places and we can distinctly tell which is our baby girls heart beat. It’s a bit muffled and you do get other noice depending on your movements etc but if you are going it properly you WILL be able to hear you babies heart beat. Please note I am 39 weeks so it’s quite easy for us to find the heartbeat.

I am 19weeks pregnant and did not expect this to work but was shocked when it did. I tested it on my leg to make sure it wasn’t just picking up my pulse, this recording was basically silent. I tested it on my sofa and it was silent. I tested on my own chest for heartbeat and it was very loud snd obvious. Lastly I tested on my lower tummy, making sure to be in a silent room, while sucking in snd holding my breath. (I wanted to try eliminate any extra noise) and it worked!! It was REALLY quiet and had a little bit of background noise but you can clearly heart a continuous heartbeat that was not the same as mine :) Rated 4/5 as it is hard to eliminate other noise but for a free app, it greatly exceeded my expectations.
