My Chihiros

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews but frankly I think it’s great. To be fair, it’s bit clunky to work with and takes a bit of fineness, but once I got it the way I wanted, it was good to go. Also, the new updates with tracking tank progress, maintenance, stats etc. was unexpected but totally welcome. For a free app - it does well. I have three fixtures from them.

I have two vivid mini, one vivid 2 and two wrgb 2. App is not user friendly and there’s a lot of improvement to be done there, but lights are amazing. Fluval has the exact opposite problem - amazing app but terrible and over priced lights. What would you prefer though? Bad lights (Fluval) or a bad app? Personally, I’m choosing amazing lights every time.

I bought 4 Chihiros light. But realized app is so horrible to work with. Cannot connect with the app. If it does, it doesn’t respond well to the settings I made. I also have Fluval plant 3.0 and Aquasky, that app is so great and awesome to work with. Please update and fix this app

Worst set up, I’m try to figure out what that mean by sunrise /off? The light turn on /off?

The app update is great, but there are lots of bugs. The picture for the tank disappears after a while on iOS. If you try to manually turn the light on after dark, the light connects to the phone in manual and when u press auto it sometimes doesn’t go back to full auto programmed mode. The next day the light fails to turn on and you need to go back to the app for it to reprogram the light and turn on. Unless u plan on programming and never playing with the light again, you need to be very careful with the app.

I purchased the Chihiros WRGB II and the app has been a delight to use! The issues which originally may have been experienced have long been fixed and I write this review to let everyone know the light and this app have been the best experience I’ve had in the hobby. Highly recommended!

The WRGB Slim 2 lights are fantastic when it works 2% of the time. The app is THE MOST FRUSTRATING app I have ever encountered. It has major bugs such as the light showing it’s offline 95% of the time. There some major Bluetooth connection issues that the developer needs to fix ASAP. I have done some searching and a lot of people have been experiencing and complaining about the same connectivity issues. I bought 3 of these at the same time and all 3 of them have the same problems. DEVELOPER PLEASE FIX THIS !

What more can I say. Tried rebooting my phone, reinstalling the app. Unplugging and plugging back in the light itself. Don’t trust Chinese knock offs.

The light doesn't stay connected to the Bluetooth- so anything you program doesn't work unless you are close to the light and it connects. My aquariums are not on the main floor. The plants love the light though.

go buy a twin star. this light sucks
