My Epic Reviews

Useless for navigation on the mountain

DanieLaunch on

United States

The app doesn’t work without reception, which is most of the mountain. Vail, add more cell service or fix the app to cache the latest info, especially the trail maps. I’m not talking about some new mountain Vail cobbled up; I’m talking about Vail itself. I invite any of the executives who can ski to use this app in the back bowls.

Poor functionality

D tv cuts on

United States

The app does not function properly. Information needed up on PC Mountain will not load. Even though there is service.

Garbage

KyleTHyche on

United States

Cannot add friends, view cams, anything useful. Takes 5 minutes saying error occurred repeatedly before I can even do anything.

Home button won’t load. Broken for weeks

Vail is lame on

Vail: YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR APP. IT IS BROKEN!!! Take a look at all the recent reviews, CLEARLY there is a problem!!

Blank blue screen

OtherCarIsA-Zamboni on

United States

App not launching properly. Only getting a blank blue screen.

Missing key features

pdubzz on

United States

The old app used to give notifications on parking and has better tracking for total footage each day. Now i get no info when lots are closed and my tracking always shortchanges me on my days out. The GPS is not reliable at all.

What happened to Epic?

Yyagaiwvdj on

United States

Not surprised that Epic is getting beat out by IKON. Did they get bought by PE or something? Everything that people loved about the old interface — automatic tracking, badges, the nice map — have been replaced with stuff that’s clearly built for people that don’t ski. You can’t even see the open and closed runs at the same time, so frustrating to use. Smh Epic

Not user friendly

Vikes46 on

United States

Attempting to locate passes seems more difficult than it needs to be.

App not working well

FlyOzone on

United States

Doesn’t scan from your pocket as promised. Doesn’t track lifts or runs anymore. Provides grossly inaccurate lift line information which looks suspiciously like they are trying to “move people” to certain areas of the mountain. A 40 minute line on the app is really 2 minutes. A 10 minute line on the app is really 40 minutes. Very disappointing.

Login failure

Hellooooooooooooooooo on

United States

Can’t login on my phone app or on the website saying my password and email are incorrect. Tried to reset my password and the email says I don’t have an email associated with epic. But when I try to create a new account it says my password is taken. Spent 30 minutes on hold with customer report before giving up. Worst ski app experience I’ve ever had.
