Medibank is great
I enjoy using Medibank. The app is easy to use to upload a claim. They have been wonderful covering my recent gallbladder surgery in full. They called to see how I was even! I highly recommend.

My name is Kelly Nichols and I have the absolute top cover with Medibank Private health insurance and extremely satisfied with the benefits that I receive when it comes to my health. I only have one concern and that is not this year but last year I got optical glasses and I got two pairs and one was for nearsighted and one was for farsighted and I did not have to pay any gap and I got the glasses completely free now this year I got multifocal glasses and just the one pair and I believe the glasses themselves cost $299 and I also got the transition lens so that when I go outside it turns into sunglasses but I ended up paying $300 out of pocket so I’m not sure why last year I had absolutely no out-of-pocket fee and this year I had to pay a whopping $300. I’m just confused so if you could explain that to me, I would appreciate it. Kind regards Kelly Nichols.
The claims process is simply painful. At my last health provider I simply uploaded a copy of the receipt. Claim done. With this app you have to search for the provider which of course it can’t find even with the broadest search terms. Then you have to know what service you claim. This was for a vaccination at a pharmacist. Try finding this in the endless menus and options. This is a classic example of how not to do CX. Try harder.
Excellent provider and always there with exceptional service and looks after members.
Unable to pay premium using the app
The app is very fussy about what document types it accepts.
Live better just spins endlessly and I can’t use it. Am a new customer and not a good experience.
A very very easy App just like the Medi bank insurance cover
The old standalone app would send notifications when challenges expires soon. After integrating, there’s no longer notifications for that. Is this some sort of way that medibank tries to rip customers off? If you don’t want people to earn points and redeem stuff, just get rid of it. I’m more than happy to switch to a different insurer 🥴
