The My Porsche app is the ideal companion for your Porsche experience. Call up the current vehicle status at any time and control Connect services remotely. The app is constantly being developed and additional features will be added in the next versions.
The My Porsche app offers you the following advantages*:
VEHICLE STATUS
You can view the vehicle status at any time and display current vehicle information:
• Fuel level/battery status and remaining range
• Mileage
• Tyre pressure
• Trip data for your past journeys
• Closing status of the doors and windows
• Remaining charging time
REMOTE CONTROL
Control certain vehicle functions remotely:
• Air conditioning/pre-heater
• Locking and unlocking of the doors
• Horn and indicators
• Location alarm and speed alarm

Confusing
I have been following the development of this app and I’m quite confused. Seems this would be the new app to connect to the car and the old Connect app will be phased out. However, the new app has less functionality… - tyre pressure - flash lights - Horn Why Porsche would do that…and why phase out he old app while the new one is not yet completed ? It is not customer friendly !!
Leider schlecht
Schade, dass die App nicht wirklich aktuelle Daten im Hintergrund lädt, obwohl es in den Einstellungen vom iOS erlaubt ist. Damit sind die Informationen über den Status des Fahrzeuges bei Aufruf der App nie aktuell. Um dann die Standheizung zu starten muss man warten, bis die Daten aktualisiert wurden und das kann verdammt lange dauern. Erst dann kann man die Heizung starten und muss wieder warten, ob diese auch wirklich gestartet wurde. Ferner wird immer wieder mal sporadisch eine komplette Anmeldung in der App nötig. Nach Eingabe von Benutzername und Passwort müssen dann erst die Fahrzeugdaten geladen werden. Warum? Damit: KEINE EMPFEHLUNG !!!
Nicht zuverlässig!
Leider werden die aktuellen Fahrzeugdaten meines Taycans in der App häufig nicht aktualisiert (zum Beispiel Akkustand). Die App kann oft keine richtige Verbindung zum Auto herstellen.

Sehr ausbaufähig
Die App hat noch viele ausbaufähig Elemente. Es dauert sehr lange, bis man die Ladestation sendet und dann im Display im Auto empfängt. Bei der Suche am Zielort, wenn man noch nicht dort angekommen ist, Mangelt es an Funktionen und ist sehr umständlich. Es wäre viel hilfreicher, wenn die App auf Google Maps Basis und man mit ähnlichen Optionen arbeiten könnte. Darüber hinaus sind viele Bedienelemente nicht intuitiv.
Immer wieder Probleme
Die MyPorsche App ist an sich wirklich brauchbar und übersichtlich. Leider treten aber immer wieder Probleme auf, deren Lösung wegen fehlender oder umständlicher Kontaktierung sehr schwierig ist. Z.B. fehlt in der App seit dem letzten Update der Reiter „intelligentes Standklima“. Diese sehr nützliche Einstellung sollte schnellstmöglich wieder eingeführt werden. Das PZ kann nicht weiterhelfen, weil das Problem dort überhaupt nicht bekannt ist. Ich hoffe nun, auf diesem Weg Gehör zu bekommen.
