My Porsche FAQ
Is My Porsche free?
Yes, My Porsche is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is My Porsche legit?
⚠️ The My Porsche app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I just bought a brand new 2023 Porsche Macan. The My Porsche app identifies the car correctly and offers to display fuel level, oil level and tyre pressures, but these data items never update. The dealer tells me these functions are not supported on the Macan. If so, why are they displayed in the app?
You have to be kidding.
This app is totally unusable. Either get it right or get rid of it. Shutting down the old app this month for this rubbish.
Don't use it
This is the worse App I have ever used in my life. When I login and the screen just turns black (looks like loading). Until I wait around 15mins, still showing black loading page. Trust me I tried to restarted this app and even re-downloaded it. Same result. The reason I gave one star out of five is because it’s the minimum I can rate. So so bad !
The worst car app ever used
Nothing works in this app for my Macan. The worst car app I’ve ever used.
App crashes and don’t work.
App keeps crashing. Should just stick to the key to open the car and paper registration. Please not bother with this app. What a joke!
Useless app
I have Porsche Macan 2023 gts and I can’t do anything in the app. Can’t even track or see basic details of the car. It’s crazy how you spend $150k+ on a car that does not give you basic remote controls.
Porsche can do better
An amazing driving experience is a Porsche however on the app technology and self drive they have along way to go to catch up with Tesla.
Porsche do better thanks.
Not working!!
Hasn’t connected to my Taycan for over 1 month. Was flakey before. I am told it’s a backend issue with Porsche. Quite frankly high school students can write and make more reliable Internet control systems. Porsche it’s not that difficult !!! For a car this costly I expect all systems to work 100% of the time. Lift your game!
Works maybe 1/10 - embarrassing
I have a 2020 Cayenne E-Hybrid, which the app has worked successfully less than 10% of the time. I returned the vehicle to the showroom at least 8 times to try and make it work, until they replaced PCM parts twice before it kind of, sometimes works. I actually question Porsche’s ability to engineer Electric cars if they cannot get an app to work better than a 10+ year old Mazda. @Porsche App developers - I don’t expect a response, I pity the crappy environment that Porsche thinks is acceptable for you to work in 2022. Do better Porsche. What happened to German pride in engineering? Kia, Tesla, even Lada might be able to show these guys how to make an app work without turning it off and on again.
Porsche app
I don’t understand for a company brand line Porsche, why are they not at the forefront with technology. I owned a 2017 Range Rover Velar and with the RR app, I could remotely start my car on a cold day and set the internal heating temperature so that when I got to my car the engine was warmed up and so was the interior. It’s not rocket science!!
